Not to be confused with



It's a new reality show on the Syfy channel, that seems almost tailored specifically for my interests as I watch no reality television XD

It compensates for being a 'reality show' by getting several talented special FX artist and setting them weekly challenges singly and in teams of two with only two and half days to build prosthetics from design through to applying them to a model and having them judged. With one person voted off each week, y'know standard reality show stuff but favoured with awesome.

I generally sit through this show taking notes on special FX techniques I wouldn't see demonstrated otherwise.

It's been going for four weeks now and I'm really enjoying it, there are too many ad breaks but that's American TV for you XD

I thought he would of learnt his lesson about rush-jobs from the first mini-trial, but he just kept doing it!!

And how he treated that male model was horrible!

Yeah I think the best way to sum him up is he's a d*ck ;-P I really liked the photo of the woman lying as a path at the bottom of the steps and the fish, they were great.

Some of the stuff they come up with amazes me and makes me wish I was as creative as they are. There's a 4th episode out now. The tattoo thing made me laugh when the guy did the tattoo on his neck.

They never seem to learn that their stuff doesn't dry that quickly!

The painting one was astonishing. It was really cool.

Can anyone actually find this on the TV? I have skyTV and it's got the syfy channel but I can't find the programme!

Looking at the Syfy channel show guide it doesn't seem to be on there.

Next episode it seems they're going to be gender changing people.

yea, went through that (my PC kept bombing me out of the channel for some reason). It must be only available in the US atm. So Just gonna have to wait til thurs/fri and watch it on the website I've been using though I currently can't remember the name of it lolz!

I totally thought that Anthony and Tate were going to win this week! What were those judges thinking?

Yeah I know!!!!! They seemed to love it, I definitely think they were a pee'd off with that Jo interrupting and especially picked Megan because of it! I totally agree though. They didn't deserve to win in my opinon.

Next week its zombies!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was because Jo said, "well, she didn't do anything" that actually made them choose Megan as well...

Frankly, the male looked like a drag queen.

The winner should of been out of Tate and Anthony. I s'pose they had an easier job as their male was the most femine out of the males, but they were superior. And so hid the fact how feminine the female was

Crazy judge decisions again this week!

I think they fancy her.

OMFG!!!!!!!! Anthony's and hers were the only ones they really slated!! What's the point of the first competition now, I thought it gave them immunity from the main part. She has to go next competition or I'm calling shenanigans!

It was a bit harsh but definitely deserving. I felt bad for Sam though.

Next weeks the final? I think if they base it on how well they've done through the series and not just on that episode like they have been doing so far I think Tate or Conner are going to win. I'm leaning more towards Tate though, he seems to have performed the best consistently throughout the show.

I was really annoyed with her... So many better people went before she did, and she says thanks by doing this rubbish.

I didn't actually think that Connor's face change was too bad - I think that sometimes subtlety is the best. His sister didn't notice.

I think it's gonna be out of Sam or Tate. I don't think either of them have been in the bottom... And they've been the most consistant... Saying that, they've all been fantastic throughout, so I think it's gonna be a tough call.

Yeah I totally agree, Tom was generally good he had natural talent for it and should've stayed much longer than her.

I thought that about Connors as well. I think everyone knew it was a prosthetic for all of them except maybe Connor.

I'll be sad to see it finish. I hope they have another series of it. It's the only reality TV I've actually enjoyed.

Woo Hoo there's going to be a Second Series

Based solely on what was produced in the final episode, well Gages was probably my favourite. Also Connor threw his toys out the pram a little, but with good reason I suppose

Yeah I was pretty happy with the ending. Everyone loved Gages. I think it was quite a fair final. Tate's gauss gun looked a bit naff though. I did like the pouch on the frog.

The gattling gun looked rather... flimsy.

TBH, wanted Gage's to win, but the frog's pouch was an awesome touch by Conor. His hissy fit was a bit... well

Haha, yeah. I would've been glad if Conor or Tate won. I'd of preferred Tate because I prefer his thinking, ideas and general work but Conor and Tate were consistently the best through the whole series.

I can't wait for the new series to start but it probably won't be until next year some time.
