Am I the only one who's sick to death of my genetically stupid flat face? I have big cheeks that grow when I smile and make my eyes disappear. My forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks and chin are all on the same plane so when I turn to the side my face disappears!

(note: this only meant to be lighthearted, I find this subject hilarious with my brother and oriental friends)

Glasses are a pain because I need to buy the ones with nosepads which can limit my choices, especially because the dark thick frames (which are so lovely and fashionable at the moment) often don't come with them. And when I do get a pair with nosepads that sit in the right position on my face my eyes aren't set deep enough so my eyelashes brush on the lenses leaving marks on the lense and sometimes eyeshadow and mascara! Now if you want goggles for swimming or sports you'll have to order "asian-fit" ones at a price because you'll need flat goggles for flat faces.

Haha anybody else got anything to add (oriental or not) to our stupid flat faces?

i actually find your stupid flat faces very endearing... cute. if i could, i'd put one of you guys in my pocket so i could take you out and show you off at whim

although it would be a pain to pay more for glasses etc.

lol, not the same. i'm not allergic to those of an oriental origin! i dunno if it's just me, but i find oriental women beautiful. and i quite envy some of the men for their looks

p.s. i have a weird nose too. and i'm genetically predispositioned towards a flabby chin

Yep, this. I don't really like being Caucasian, and if I could choose to be anything, I'd want to be Asian. I've felt that way for as long as I can remember, too, and have always thought Asian people have a fantastic natural attractiveness.

I'm Oriental and although I don't have a flat face, I do have cheeks that suddenly inflate when I smile/grin.

Other than that, I like my eyes, eyebrow, and nose ;D

Though I don't need glasses or goggles so I guess I'm lucky there, though wearing sunglasses prove to be quite difficult as they keep slipping off! I have never heard of 'Asian fit' glasses before haha!

My cheeks do indeed inflate when I smile, like a chipmunk!! Though it's better than my chubby babyface so I prefer to smile like a chipmunk 8D; [I seriously want to get rid of my babyface NOW! >_<]

LOL I have to push them right back so they touch my eyelashs... and they sometimes still slide down T-T

So usually I just give up and not wear them at all or put them on my head like a headband xP

Or I make them really tiny so they rest on my ears and not my nose hurhur

i don't think my face/profile is that bad but i'd love more almondy shaped eyes, and a flatter nose. you guys should be happy with who you are. glasses are the least of your worries, wear contacts. sunglasses? they'll just give you panda eyes anyways. ><

bout swimming goggles, yeah, I bough this really nice pair of goggles, (which obviously I didn't try it on first, would have been silly..) and when I use it for swimming water keeps on flowing it to it because my nose is not high enough so that it leaves a hole..

but, I LOVE my black hair.. and my black eyes too.

and I think I'm quite tall, I'm 165 cm. am I tall? well, some of my friends are waay~ taller than me..

i've got black hair too, not as shiny and pretty as some asian hair, but i'm proud of it all the same.

Yay! I knew someone would understand me! Haha I agree though, right now I do not like my black hair and black eyes because I can't get tinted contacts and I have to bleach my hair white to get colour in it. (although I'm going back to a natural phase). I do think that asians with their dark eyes and dark straight hair looks very beautiful and when I'm older I know I will appreciate it!

umm.. smaller feet? well, It's just that, whenever I went to america or europe for shopping my shoe size (which is already considered medium-big in my country , it's 6.5) would be considered tiny in those shop..

really? well, my is as good as ever, but I use glasses once in a while (normal glasses) and my friends said that I look rather cool in it and I do have to slide them back every 5 minutes (some of them actually said that I'm a bishie and if I ever gender-bender, she would love to be my girl, as if!)

Small feet eh? Mine are mahoosive! XD Okay the length is kinda average I guess, I'm a size 6/7 But width wise I'm a size H! O_O;; The shoe shop flipped when they couldn't find a shoe to fit my feet LOL! XD But I can easily fit in F/G cause I stretch them out after a while =P [My school shoes are size 6F I think]

Bad thing is that it's a killer when buying new pointe shoes for ballet! D8 Thankfully I've stretched them out xD;; Took a year but it fits now!
