Why am I using that to name this topic, I wonder? If anybody knows what that is from, I officially love you and you have my heart completely.

So. Hi. I'm Soph. 'Sup. I'm 18. And I'm from an anonymous little town but am living in Birmingham for uni~ whoo. So this is my time to break out from the norms of society (which I was never in anyway, c'est la vie) and start dressing as fictional characters. I only have one cosplay planned so far because I'm unadventurous and I love Gary Oak. brb idolisation. I'm kind of a massive Pokémon fangirl, Gary being my favourite character (despite rarely being in it. Sigh. COME TO UNOVA, PROFESSOR GARY!)

So. Yep. I'm hopefully going to MCM Midlands (although not in cosplay because it's a bit short notice and one must acquire wigs and outfits and whatnot). Telford is super close to my house and not far from uni, in fact it's kind of the midway point. So win win. Find me there in some kind of geeky t-shirt, probably featuring Sonic the Hedgehog. Like all the cool kids 8D except I don't have anybody to go with so I won't be a cool kid, I'll be a loser loner kid. Waaaah.

So it's pretty clear I'm rubbish at introductions. I should probably mention some things I like. Anime wise, I'm pretty new to the game. My massive obsession is Pokémon because I'm forever 10 years old (just like Ash, lol). I also love The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Axis Powers Hetalia, D.N.Angel, Ouran High School Host Club... cliché fan is cliché. Give me some time until I've finished rewatching Pokémon and I promise I'll broaden my horizons. The only mangas I've read are incomplete chapters of Cromartie High School, D.N.Angel, OHSHC and TMOHS. Again, one of these days I will finish them and read more. I suppose first and foremost I'm a gamer. Obviously Pokémon's a favourite along with Sonic the Hedgehog. Other than that I like sandbox games like GTA, Saints Row and Prototype. I'm an Xbox 360 owner who isn't actually big on generic war FPS games so I'm a bit limited, haha. I'd rather play Portal or Team Fortress 2. Dead or Alive as well. Mmmm fighting games. Basically, I like violence. I also like Asian pop, Japanese probably being my favourite but I love Korean, Chinese and Thai too. My first idea ever for a cosplay which fell through was Ueda Tatsuya from KAT-TUN's "White X'mas" PV because I'm kind of in love with him, haha. That's the kind of person I am. Fall in love with someone and then cosplay them. Oh dear.

I'm also the rambling type, apparently. If you read all of this, 4 FOR YOU GLEN COCO. Nice to meet you all and all of that good stuff :3 if you guys can help me out when it comes to cosplay, I will love you eternally. Or thank you in a less creepy manner. Whatever you prefer.
