I've finally decided - I wanted to do something sci fi or comic based but in the end my friend suddenly decided she wanted us to both be maids, so I picked Sakuya from Touhou Just got to hope the wig comes in time for me to style it!

Shame as it would have been awesome for more people to cosplay comic or sci-fi characters. But I bet the maids outfit will look awesome.

When you get used to making things from anime & videogames it can be quite daunting to try something from a live-action or western comic (not least because a lot of popular comic characters are wearing skintight costumes!)

When I choose things for expo I try to go with something that will have universal appeal even if the character/series is obscure. So maids you can't really go wrong with Although my friend chose a character from He Is My Master which I think will gather a lot more interest than my choice!

Lol after changeing sunday, through 4 different cosplay choices, I finally return to my first option i ever picked XD Final Fantasy IX Princess Garnet Trance XD

I was originally going as Taokaka from Blazeblue butttt with alot of pain i had to give up that idea... the costume was just to complex for me to make with my sewing skills atm xD so shes on hold.

so i went for the slightly more simpler Nadeko Sengoku from Bakemonogatari im going as her on both days most likely as i have no time to make another cosplay for sunday lol

Working on my Aya Brea cosplay PE3 version, as my dress for the 2nd game hasn't arrived, and also struggling to put together my fem Dante outfit.

I finished my Doki and Nabi costumes for Saturday in time but had no time left for Batgirl so Sunday I'll be Chun Li wooooo! It's so close now! I can't wait!

My fabric turned up today and my wig turns up tomorrow so I'm in for a busy week lol, plus my first time cutting and styling a wig Eek!

If all goes to plan I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday as Zero from Vampire Knight
