Hey, there~! ^__^ So my friends and I are planning on creating a Vocaloid group for the May MCM expo on Saturday at 12p.m. outside the Excel building, just by the black statue. If it rains, the meeting place will be changed to inside the main entrance to Excel building. I'm cosplaying as Meiko and my friend was going to cosplay as Gumi Megpoid, but unfortunately she has to go on a school trip to Germany so she can't make it to the expo. ;w;

So, please state if you want to join and which character you'll be cosplaying as~. ^__^

The character doesn't have to be an official Vocaloid character, it can be fanmade. (e.g. Voyakiloid, Rainbow Vocaloid, Genderbent, etc.) And even if the character has been taken by two people, if the character you're cosplaying as is a different version (e.g. Black Rock Shooter, Cantarella, Magnet, etc.), that's totally fine.

I'm going as Rhapsody of Loup Garous Gakupo on the Sunday and hopefully Space Channel 39 Miku on the Sunday :3

I was thinking of waiting until lots of people join so we can see how many people are free on which day since I can only do the group for one day (Sarurday or Sunday) since I'm also in a D. Gray-Man group. I dunno, is that a good idea or should we just choose a date now?

Well it's your call really :3 though personally I feel if you choose a date you'll probably get people a little more definite about joining in and especially if you only want two of each Vocaloid places will fill up fast!
Personally I don't mind which day you do it on as I'm hoping to cosplay two Vocaloids over that weekend :'

I don't really mind which day this is on tbh, though Sunday is preferable for me.
I could change into it on the Sat for the meet, but my costume for that day involves full face make-up which will be a bit of a pain to take off and re-apply.
Though I might be abke to switch my costumes round. . .

I dont know if I can go to this expo, what with exams and stuff, but if I can , I wouldnt mind being Rin Kagamine (MAGNET)~

One of the people on the MCM forums apparently hates my idea of limiting the amount of cosplayers for each character because I'm alienating people from the group.. I feel really bad now. D: it's just because I can't handle a large group and since the group includes all variants, I'm assuming that it'll be more than enough for me to handle. XD

I really hope I've created no hard feelings for anyone~. D:

EDIT: I've decided to remove the MCM thread due to constant misunderstandings but I'm sure we'll still have lots of members in our group from cosplayisland~! (I'm kind of thinking it's much friendlier and convenient here. ^__^)

It's likely that they complained since their character was taken, and it's likely that more people may turn up on the day and say hi xD

Most likely, yeah. XD I was thinking that if more positions get filled up and lots of people want to join, I'll remove the limit but I probably won't be able to arrange the group on my own so I'll have to have someone to help out. I guess I'll just see how it goes~. ^__^

I decided to lift the two-character limit thing since it seems unfair and everyone should be able to join. ^__^ Oh, and I've also decided to cosplay as Meiko instead of Miku since the Miku cosplay is really expensive (£105 for a Miku cosplay?!) and I'm quite poor xD besides, the Miku cosplay didn't really suit me anyway and Meiko is also really cute~. :3

I'm gonna be Blue Ice Castle Miku! It's going in for eurocosplay. :3

I'm gonna go as Mikuo Matsune, genderbend it up baby. Cannot wait for the wig haha.
