Okay, so there's a HP thread on the MCM site, but I don't see one here... So I thought I'd start one to see if we can get anyone else
The events will include a photoshoot, wizarding duels (so have your wands at the ready >D) and of course, Quidditch. I'll post the rules for the game (since we can't fly. xD) later.
So if you can come, reply with who you're cosplaying and I'll add you to this list and tell the creator of the HP thread on MCM to add you there too~

RULES FOR QUIDDITCH
7 a side game, made up of 3 chasers, 2 beaters, 1 keeper and 1 seeker.
All participants must always have a broom between their legs.
The Quaffle shall be a ball passed around by the 6 (in total) chasers, each team trying to get the ball off of the other team, no contact though, attempting to get the ball into one of the hoops set up. Each time a team gets a ball through the hoop, it's 10 points.
The 2 Bludgers shall be other balls (has to be soft enough to not hurt anyone too badly) batted around by the 4 (in total) Beaters, attempting to hit members of the opposite team, who would then have to stay still/lie down for 30 seconds, unable to play for that long. Like dodgeball.
The snitch shall be a fast runner, with no grounds limitations, heck, they could go into the ExCel if they really wanted! And the 2 Seekers would have to chase it, first to catch it, gains 150 points.
Since I dun think Tonks played Quidditch at Hogwarts, you can be whoever you want on the team, if you wanna play

Well, you get to pick who you wanna be on the team, like... Beater, Seeker, Keeper... So just pick one that contains a skill you're good at?

Possibly can go to this but depends on cost of MOT in April... Draco Malfoy Hogwarts student, black suit and Quidditch robes all there

Can I just say as a fellow witch (unfortunately not Hogwarts-style :c) that your rules for Quidditch are absolutely amazing? Sounds like super-awesome fun, hope you guys have an awesome time trying to catch ol' Snitchy 8D

Anyone can play. If you come and find us etc. We won't have enough for complete houses. Prolyl will for like. Gryffindor + Slytherin, but Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw may need some help ect.
We're playing interhouse, then just more random games where everyone can play~

I hope that those that've said they may be able to can come~!

EDIT: Will now go to Telmsford instead, IF I can manage that, as it is a lot cheaper for me and closer. Sorry but finances are a no go for London more than once or twice a year... hopefully get to see all of you at LFCC in London for which I will def be there this year :0)

Also, just an FYI, Expo is probably NOT the best event to try and play Quidditch at just due to the sheer amounts of people. Expo will also ask you to register it as part of Expo Fringe and they might have concerns on health and safety.

Not trying to rain on a parade or anything, just warning you as a few of us have considered playing Muggle Quidditch at events before.

aaww shame but I hope we will meet at some con at some stage :0)... thanks to dentist etc I can't do much this year but I will be at LFCC and EXPO here in Manchester in July for sure.

Are you in the North? A group of us are going to Alnwick Castle cosplaying HP. (sorta near Newcastle, it's where some of the outside Hogwarts clips were shot) if you were able to, you could come withs for a photoshoot~ It's prolly gonna be in like. July...

It's not me registering, I was just spreading the word on here. It's not like we'll be playing inside, other groups play games, I don't think it'll be too much of a problem as long as we don't get too stupid~
