You've got a very mature face, so I'll put you down for Integra Hellsing from Hellsing Ultimate, Sloth from the original series of Fullmetal Alchemist, because Sloth is a female character in this series. Yeah it's happened to me a phew times, such as advent children tifa, thought " no way i won't suit her" and ended up doing so. For me the same with princess garnet, and though i have not worn her yet and still working on her serah farron ^^ my friend asher suggested her to me a while back, and i feel she was right lol, now just have to work my bottom off to make the costume perfect XD!

I was talking to someone at my uni's anime soc on the first night about Fullmetal Alchemist and I said I'd like to cosplay Riza. They said I'd really suit her (which made me happy).
So that's the closest to a suggestion that I've had.
Although they may have suggested it and then I said I had considered it, I have a bad memory, I can't remember =p

I have had the odd recommendation or two in the past... a good few I do like... and one I despised. XD
I often get trap characters and female characters which amuses me greatly. Solva from Needless was suggested to me and I SOOOO INTEND to do do it when we get a group. As well as thr trap character in Sugo Chara (as you can tell I've yet to read XD) but I sooo approved of it. XD
And Yukari Yakumo from Touhou... after getting sent a portrait fanart I was told looked like me... sooo doing her. XD

I can think of one suggestion I got that I didn't like... at all. Corset from Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt... crusty old demon covered in bondage straps? I mean WTF?

Well I got reccomended Alucard by 100000 people XD far to many for me not to do it but it was one of those ones that I was a little self concious to do so I ended up doing it and it sort of became a signature costume XD

I got Superman from a couple of people but that was gonna happen anyways XD but things like Lust and stuff came from a few friends suggestions and stuff ^.- its all good! ^^

Touhou's Chen, I've never played Touhou, I've looked up the character and she seems quite cute but I would have to play the game or read the manga before considering it. Also my sewing skills would not be able to handle that dress, at least not yet!

Haha, I don't have anywhere near sufficient norkage to do Matsumoto! XD

Thanks for the suggestions though. I'd never considered doing Integra for some reason and I can't imagine why not - she's an awesome character and fits rather nicely with my current preference for badass older women! I can't make any cosplay plans for this year beyond May Expo but I'll keep Integra in mind - thanks!

Most requests I get are for characters who are head and shoulders above everyone else XD

I keep on getting Mai Tokiha from My-HiME reccommended for me, mainly because I apparently have the boobs for her. Meh, I'd rather do a cosplay because I like the character, not because I have their...assets.

For some reason I get a LOT of suggestions for characters who resemble Pamela Anderson.

I do not resemble Pamela Anderson! I have reasonable norks but that's about as far as it goes O_o

This one never fails to bemuse me. Particularly as it's pretty well known that I prefer to avoid blonde costumes where I can.

I remember someone suggesting winry from fma and I cosplayed her and I really enjoyed it and the costume came out well
however the same person suggested rock lee ¬¬ ... enough said

Jill Valentine in her RE5 appearance -_-. I'm going to attempt it sometime in 2012, chances are I will fail miserably. I think it had something to do with being pale and blonde...even though I dyed my hair so I'm a darker blonde now XP. But yeah, a few people have said I should do it, and I made a promise I may be forced to keep, so...watch me fail -_-.

Uh, I may have to attempt Lady Gaga sometime. Because every-flippin'-body tells me I look like her. Even drunk strangers and people I've just met! I have a similar nose...I think that's where the similarity ends -_-.

I don't think I've ever been suggested a cosplay from something that I don't know. Probably has something to do with the fact that the few friends I have who are into games, etc. are into the same ones as me...don't really know anyone into anime/manga. All that's really been suggested is Jill and FFX-2 Rikku (no...just no).

I was told to go for Gendo Ikari from Neon Genesis Evengelion because I have funny ears.

Though if I pick a character, my friends will generally go 'YESDOITNAO!'
But no ones thrown a character at me before.
