How to colour your eyebrows?
One of the cosplays i wish to do requires white eyebrows and i have brown....

What can you use to colour them?

I have some white Snazaroo from something else,

Is that alright?

or is there more to it xD

Suggestions etc are welcome!

I was actually going to mention Petrilude's tutorial, heh. I sort of used that for my Nana cosplay, but I forgot the glue so just ended up using a bit of wax and then foundation over the top, then drew on thinner brows. It worked, but my eyebrows are light and plucked to hell anyway, you'd need to do it properly with dark/thick eyebrows.

You will need to cover your eyebrows, as for the white...you may be okay simply using a white eye pencil, which you can pick up quite cheaply in Boots or Superdrug. Something that is smudge-resistant will work best (hard pencils, not soft). Smudged eyeliner is often intended, smudged eyebrows not so much XD.
I'm not sure about Snazzaroo...I'd be careful if you use it. I used it as a body paint once and it rubbed off quite easily. If so much as a drop of water touches it, it will come off.

Me personally? I use coloured Eye pencils. I find the softer ones work better than the solid ones personally as they're easier to work with. as long as you don't OTT with them I haven't had the problem of them running. They work a charm and they look quite natural once you have your wig and everything on <3

I just cover my eyebrows with the usual base makeup like foundation and such and then colour over my eyebrows :3 Simples C=

I know this will probably shock peeps but I use acrylic paint.

I use Anita's craft acrylic paint. It remains flexible and lasts all day. I can wash it off with basic soap and water. I just paint it on with a brush and it works well. I find it lasts longer than Snazzarzoo. I do this for my Sephiroth and I have nearly jet black eyebrows. You can see the results for all my white/silver haired cosplays .

I've never had any skin issues with it nor have I had any eyebrow probs. If you are to do this through I recommend a skin test first and practise before doing it at a con.

This doesn't surprise me actually. I've seen it mentioned on Cosplay.com a lot although they recommend using it over a layer of washable glue to create a smooth surface to paint on and keep stubborn hairs in place.

I've not really tried to do a base of pva glue first as I've never really had a problem with my eyebrow hairs. I do tend to trim them to keep them short as they can grow really long. I just paint straight on to them.

For my Horatio Caine I added extra hairs with the paint with a smaller brush to have a more 'manly' look.

Works like a charm for me.
I've got black eyebrows and have had to paint them blonde a lot, and occasionally purple and it's looked fine.

I've tried with and without PVA as a base, and prefer without, as the glue tends to crack and peel off, and the paint does fine on it's own.

i've used eyeliner (like someone has suggested before), the soft kohl stuff works like a charm. ive even tried it on people with darker eyebrows and white still covers really well.
its easy to wash off and its cheap. and it looks almost natural once you plop your wig on.
ive also not had a problem with it running, even during sweaty con parties

white eyeliner is good but you can get white mascara
they normally come with black one end and white the other ( the white is normally an undercoat before you apply the black
might be worth a go??
