gothic lolita dress patterns?
are there any websites out there where you can buy dress patterns for gothic lolita styles?

I'm not looking for a specific dress, just a place that might sell a variety of them

I've tried looking around all the pattern websites I know, but the closest I can find is usually 'adult fancy dress' which doesn't really help

You might be best to try the EGL community on Livejournal, they have scans of patterns up sometimes or just ask the question. The girls from the community wil probably be able to give you some help!

When I was in japan I bought a load of the gosu loli magazines - each one comes with about 10 patterns each. You can buy them on yesasia.com

http://www.yesasia.com/global/gothics-lolita-15/1022557528-0-0-0-en/info.html

I'm sure other places sell them but this is where I get mine.

They cater for a wide rang of gothic lolita from sweet to punk. Also for the price even if you only use one or two patterns it's about the same price as a single uk one. I often use these patterns for my cosplay!

The only disadvantage is that for most of the patterns they give you a techinical diagram with all the dimensions based on your size which you would need to draw onto a large sheet of paper (newspaper stuck together and a highlighter is brilliant for this!) to make the pattern. Personally i like this as it means you can use the pattern over and over!

Avoid the gothic lolita bible as this only has pictures of cosplays no actual patterns.

I hope that helps

You could modify the pattern for an Alice costume dress
