Is it intentional that you can add yourself as your own friend? Self-reference woo!

Yeah that is intentional and might make more sense once we've done the friends page improvements we've got planned. It's common on some social networking sites, I know people who have themselves on their LJ friends list so they can see their own posts when browsing friends pages.
