Not a bad little piece although was the staged night out really necessary?

I found this earlier and thought it was okay. The night out was a bit... er yeah. But apart from that, it was an informative piece about cosplay.

This is surprisingly good for a BBC report. Granted they could have explained a few things in more detail but this is the first BBC report on Cosplay I've seen where it hasn't been ripped or paired up as a minor part of a convention report.

Fingers crossed this means we may see more positive coverage of Cosplay by the BBC in future.

it was good to see it all in a positive view...the night out seemed weird but as everyone said it a good report ^_^

i'm in the middle of writting an essay for uni on cosplay at the moment, so this is perfect for me thanks for sharing

It was awesome to see some familiar faces nice little bit they did, I found it hilarious when they got the presenter into cosplay too LMAO

A lad from BBC radio Scotland interviewed myself, Yaya Han and several members of the Auchinawa committee at Auchinawa a few weeks ago. He's not sure if the project will get aired, but if it does he'll inform me and I'll make a post about it here so everyone can listen in. He was really nice and quite clued up on anime and videogames (a bit of a self-confessed nerd!) so I think the report will turn out really good

I wouldn't be too surprised this is actually a decent report as it's done by Ellie Gibson whose main job is reviewing games over at Eurogamer. She's also probably the funniest games journalist in the business.

Hmm. I've always been a iffy about Eurogamer since the FF XII launch.

*shrugs* Ellie's great. She loves games and generally writes hilarious reviews and interviews. And it seems like she did a fun piece about Cosplayers.

I thought it was, but from what everyone was saying, I was begining to wonder if I was imagining it.

It was brief and glossed over a lot, but it wasn't supposed to be indepth. Just a fun little piece. It was good.

Am I the only one who finds these reports somewhat patronising? Both of them sound like they're talking about and to 10-year-olds. I don't like it one little bit.
