There's a host of characters I've seen that you might fit, like that crazy one from Elemental Gelade.. (why are all the tanned ones crazy? They're exposing us...)

I think her name is Kuea;

You'll need a partner to cosplay as her counterpart though. Its a fairly fun anime to get into.

I've done a lot of research into tanned characters, its always good when I see one that I actually like! Oddly enough Konishi Katsuyuki is my favourite Seiyuu, and all his characters I'd love to cosplay *w*

And as for your photos; your flexibility is good, you just need to tighten up your arms/guard, and work on the balance. In summary; good effort, sloppy in places. 7/10, see me after class for extra homework.

Hmmm not familiar with the anime but she seems pretty cool!

And hahahaha thanks? Can't expect me to be to a real ninja

haha, i like this.

Its interesting when you do sometimes take the race of characters into account when cosplaying.

Hmm, I get told I should do Lelouch almost every time cosplay comes up in conversation. But I think any character like that would suit me... now to find the motivation to actually do them ;]

No Snap, you aren't allowed to be anyone other than Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji........you literaly ARE him. We coulc composit you into the entire anime and no one would notice!

I agree *nods*. No other Butler can deliver pizza the way you can (has photos )

I've been told!

Bringing him out again for Kita's Prom this year.

When you can play to a strength, it would be only natural.

It's a double edged sword as it makes many pale characters out of reach, but lets you specialise in the tanned ones. More often than not a tanned character will have a scar or something to highlight their skin colour from everyone else such as lighter hair. When I cosplay Scar, the overall look of him of dark skin and light hair is easy to see.

I just saw your Yurine from Karas cosplay, and I think I'm smitten.

I was worried about how Yurine would pan out, but like you said once a light wig/ contacts and some face paint went on, it ended up looking pretty good.

Yeah, the overall look/shape and in many cases the outline make it fit.

I'm just miffed that in the latest FMA (brotherhood) Scar is a tank of a man, so I've got a bit of work to do with the weights. Still, it'll make my Sado Yasutora pretty good too ;D

In the past I never thought about whether the character would suit me or not before I cosplay them. I'm starting to take it into consideration now. I usually go for cute looking young girls (like school girls) that have rounder faces. Height doesn't bother me much.
I really want to crossplay but I'm put off because most of the male characters that I like have narrow faces and thin features. My face is very round and I'm pretty curvy but I would never go for girl characters that have big breasts. It just wouldn't look right on me I think xD I really do hate limitations though so I try not to fuss about these things too much.
I always thought I'd look awful in brightly coloured wigs so I tried to avoid them that is until I gave in and cosplayed Miku. Turns out I don't look so awful in bright wigs after-all. Lucky :]
On another note, I'm not sure how bright coloured contacts such as blue will look on me though...now that's something to think about hmmmm

You know, wearing that purple wig, you really remind me of Anthy from Utena as seen here ^^ This reference is for the Utena movie. 'Cause in the original series she wears her hair up and wears glasses. Plus, you have the option or a school girl uniform ^^

You cosplay from Utena AND FMA...

I like you a lot.

Edit: If you need an Akio/Scar/Greed, gimme a shout ;D

Ooh thanks for the suggestion! The character design looks really nice! Think I will check out the anime as well ^^

I think most of us have certain types of character that attract us to cosplaying them.

For me it tends to be slightly older, regal or military style characters. For example Helena from Dead or Alive and Maria from Castlevania. Future ideas are characters like Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX or Lady Oscar from Rose of Versailles.

I think because I'm a little older, I can't really pull off the young cute characters anymore

I don't think appearance wise I suit Gary Oak at all but when I mentioned it to my friends, they were all like "that's perfect for you!". Apparently we're similar in personality. So basically my friends were calling me an obnoxious, narcissistic ass with a superiority complex. Which is real nice of them >_> but I can kind of see it...

I don't personally think any characters really suit me, appearance-wise.

I really suck at cute characters, I'm kinda fierce looking and have a fiery 'tude o_0! Sometimes I see cosplayers and think they look and act so cute and pretty and I wish I could pull it off =/. But I guess my attitude sometimes helps me feel comfortable in more daring costumes (I really enjoy being Kanu Unchou! lol) which is a bonus.

Ones with dark eyebrows or hair covering my eyebrows.
My eyebrows are dark and thick which makes it hard for me to cosplay characters with light coloured hair. I would try plucking my eyebrows to be thinner, but I've never got round to it.

Despite when I'm serious some of the time, I can't seen to get into a serious charatcer. I could, it would just take an effort for me to try and keep it like that all the time without mucking about for ages. xD

I love cosplaying as magical girls. I have a rounder face so younger characters are usually on my list.
In terms of future cosplays I seem to be leaning more towards the kickass heroines; Jill Valentine from resi 5 (battlesuit ver), Bayonetta and Lara Croft.

14 Apr 2011 - 19:3554090
I suit the younger and cuter characters best.
The shota or loli types ^^

I can also pass fairly well for guys too because I'm flat chested and my face isn't overly feminine, but as I said before when it comes to boys I'm better as the shota types.

I get hangups over never finding characters with the same colour skin as me who I actually like enough to cosplay - I always gravitate towards the tiny bitchy boy characters, even though I suck at crossplay as my boobs are too obvious. Still, I suppose I look a little like Anthy from Utena, so she was one of my first cosplays. If I wasn't so short I might be able to pull off a few comicbook characters as well.

im not really sure
to be honest im not really sure who im most like - so i try to stick to really girly girls with the same kind of build as i dont think i will ever be able to cross play as a boy:/ still hopefully i make the right choices and wont look compleatly silly - no promises tho.lol - hey if anyone has any suggestions for me that would be awsome
