Do you have any certain types of characters you fall into cosplaying? Like cute characters, villains, the main characters, or even the ones that don't get enough attention and really "unheard of" series? Or purely by looking at a character and saying to yourself, "That's SO me!" Go for it!

i dont know personally now if i look like her, but when i was 14/15 my mate said i looked like yuna and had her personality cos i was quite but stood up for what is right i also had my hair short. But at the time i had never heard of final fantasy. So i suppose cos ofhim telling me about Yuna lead to me buying the game which lead to me cosplaying i still love yuna she is one of my fav characters of all time.

I havent really been told that I look like a character really... I got told I would suit Millia Rage from Guilty Gear so did a quick costume to test and I guess it worked :/ Lol

The only other character I think I suit is Videl from Dragonball Z *shrugs* ^.^

Back when I had my hair longer and was able to get it in the right style, I kept thinking to myself i could really suit Quistis from FFVIII. Cause we have the same hair colour and I really enjoy playing with Whips LMAO

When I first started cosplaying, I was told I looked like Sasuke XD;;

Apparently I look like Roxas too but nyehh =^=

I often get that I look good in coats, so I supose that does put me ona good edge for my Dante cosplay xD

Other than that, I've only ever heard that one girl would love to see me do Hazama. I also heard from quite a few people while doing my New Dante (Donto ) cosplay that I really suited him.

The day when you walk into a con, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, shorts, flip flops and big sunglasses and then tear off said shirt to reveal an incredibly ripped torso and very huskily growl "KAAAAA....MEHHHHH...HAAAAAAA..." is the day that you will tear the fabric of existence itself from sheer awesomeness.

I like shorts, so I'm doing a lot of shota types but I'm 22 so whether I suit it is another matter I guess. It's difficult to say what I'd suit. Brooding characters perhaps? *shrug*

I enjoy the shota looking characters, not done so much I guess or done by females.

I generally try to pick characters that fit my body type. As such, I spend months agonizing over who to cosplay, as the ones I usually like just wouldn't work with my body type. Which is why I have so few costumes. :/

I don't think I suit any characters be it facial wise or body wise, so I tend to find that makes it harder. I might suit some characters personality wise (I'm incredibly serious, so I get the occasional 'you'd make a good Squall' comment), but unless I can pull it off in face and body its usually something that doesn't help me chose a cosplay. -_-

I think if I have to put myself into a category it'd be the 'always covered up' category! XD

I'd say kakashi... though i am a little shorter than needed. but so long as it hides my ugly mug it suits

I've been told I look like Kennie from The Sleepover Club 8'D orz.
Ever since I was little I've been told to dress up as Pocahontas too. One day guys, one day!! My hair's normal length again, it just wouldn't be right!

I've been told to cosplay Tifa from Final Fantasy VII a lot as well, all the time. I don't know why, my boobs are tiny x'D I think it's the hair again ololol.
I want to do AC Tifa though, and my hair is around that length now so it's doable, I just never know when!

Most recommendations I get are either cute girls or manly men... I think it's cause I've cosplayed people like Miki from Shugo Chara and then Steiner from Final Fantasy IX both in the same weekend orz.

It's almost scary how many times a short wig and fitting make-up will get you chatted up at conventions....

But seriously, personally I have quite angular features and I'm pretty tall, so young, skinny male characters tend to suit me best physically.

As for characters I prefer to be.... I definitely prefer to more active, talkative types. I feel like there's more to play with in photos and such.

Though being the bad guy every once in a while is a nice change of pace >D

Ummm for some reason....dark haired girls who are a little unhinged or short, blonde angry boys. |: No. I don't understand how it works either. XD I know this much...I have a baby face XD Quite round, chubby cheeks, big eyes, so I seem to suit young boys. I'd love to be able to carry off elegant ladies but I'm not sure if it's in me any more...XD

To be honest I don't really know how to answer that personally, it's usually down to what my brother is cosplaying as (we always like to go as people from the same series) I usually like to go for people who I look fairly convincing as. So for me that's usually slim guys... Sometimes cute. If I am honest I do like to be attractive characters, because I like to look good generally.

More to the point I sure as hell couldn't pull off a gruff, stocky tough guy, and I do NOT have the courage to go as a girl.

I think as long as I look like a reasonable resemblence and I can imitate them alright, and most importantly, if I can have fun with them, that's usually enough for me. I really can't wait to go as Salem from Army of two, because a lot of my friends say I could be him really well. (Usually I'm pretty playful and spontanious in real life... And I call everyone "Dude"!)

I dont know if I have a character 'type'. I just go with characters who look cool or who I find awesome

Well, I have a pretty androgynous face, but I tend to stick with male characters because I usually prefer their costumes. . .

And I'm quite tall, so I can't get away with all the little cute short characters.

So I usually end up being the tall grumpy/angry/angsty male.

I'd like to attempt a female costume at some point, but I'm stumped as to who. . .

Um... "Strong" women. Though usually they tend to display their strength by being massive bitches.

It's a little ironic, because I'm probably one of the mildest people you'll ever meet - I think I pick them *because* they're so unlike me, and also because I wish I were a bit more forthright.

Also, characters with ample chests, because I have reasonable assets and I'm not bothered about putting them on display; I have these things, I may as well use them!

Finally, hot men with beards. Because I make a hot man with a beard.

I mostly end up crossplaying, because despite having an ample chest and big butt, I make a pretty crap girl in costume most of the time. XD;; (I'm too tomboyish...I just never feel right! Unless it's a hyperactive, annoying girl. THAT I can sort-of pull off. Eh heh heh...^_^;; Although, generally, those tropes tend to be flat chested...my body fails at pidgeon-holing, dammit!)

Usually I end up as the short-arse characters, often as Tsunderes/inner Moe-blobs and occasionally Genki spazzos. Sometimes I cosplay all 3 at once! Huzzah! (Looking at you, Edward Elric... ¬_¬ )

Germans, loligoths and skimpy females...

Usually ones that involve speedos, sunglasses and awesome hair.

See, I would love to cosplay some badass guys, but most of the ones I like are too skinny where as I'm curvey. It can sometimes be annoying XD But girls are lucky if they can get away with looking like girls, and can also crossplay as guys. It's the same with guys being able to dress like women! Haha!
