I want to drop a stone by October 2011 expo, long way off I know but I'm working hard at exercise, toning up and eating well so hopefully I'll have more confidence in myself.

Very do-able. I'm sure you will be fine. It's roughly 1lb every 3 weeks if my maths is right. Good luck

I have a few,

1)get a new full time job/go to college
2)cut back on my drinking (at least enough to not be called an alchohalic)
3)find a boyfriend.
4)lose some weight (noticed thats a popular one)

how I'm gonna do it.

1)well I need a CV made up and I need to decide if I go to college what I want to do.

2)I only drink with friends, but I should learn my limits or say no, getting blind drunk and not remembering anything aint what it used to be.

3)I just really need to get out more and be more confident.

4)need to start going to the gym again or at least get out more often.

Its been almost a month now since my last post in this thread.

My progress towards hitting my targets has slowed down considerably due to the gluttonous festive season. However I have 3 weeks to get back on track.

But I have noticed a strength increase, its not massive but its progress (i.e warmups now have 70 pressups as opposed to 50) I've not weighed myself yet as thats not critically important, I'm more concerned about ability. I've also taken up rock climbing, I'll gain static strength which really helps and the added bonus is that for photoshoots I can tense and hold position for longer whilst having good muscle definition; gotta make it look good when doing photoshoots of fight scenes.

Its not easy but I have to keep pushing, either I'll reach new levels, or destroy myself in the process. Either way, its better than staying in the same place.

I just want to lose weight for may expo, but I dunno if I can do it as Im bad when it comes to it. I never feel full for a long time and well...I get bored easily.

I've made a tiny amount of progress towards my goal. I have about £160 towards buying Hazama as it stands. I need to have at least £422 before I can order him though ;-; and then I need another £76 to commission his clothes OTL
Why must bjds be so expensive?

As for the weight thing? I lost 2lbs over christmas...but i'm not doing so well on the toning up part. Determined to apply for the uni gym tomorrow!
Food wise I bought a load of things that are healthier if i get the munchies XD Hopefully that will minimize the weight going back up again OTL

Snacking can be one of the more annoying things when trying to be healthy.

There is a drawer full of Mikado to my right (I'm at work) so I can't really say that I don't snack myself. I am also hungry a lot of the time.

I try to limit this to protein bars (big raid at Decathlon or Holland & Barratts) or super healthy fruit snacks.

Meal replacement powders are massively helpful. I have a protein shake three times a day, this is for my fitness regime, however I'd totally reccomend something like it as protein keeps you feeling fuller for longer.

Eat my fruit...I should really do that. More grapes and stuff.

Mine would be not to over eat, and try and slim down a little more for future cosplays! XD No sizes in particular. So I'll try to cut out on snacking and stick to 3 meals a day hehe. ANd make at least 2 more well made cosplays before the next con I go to ^^
