Hey there everyone! I'm Hoshi and I've recently moved to Birmingham for Uni.

Erm...what do you put on these things anyway?

I've been a member for a while, but I've never actually had time (and when I did I'd forget) to post so I am now

I want to join/start a group in Birmingham and got to events, cons and everything, ive been interested in doing this for years but because my family thought it was silly ive never had the chance to do it...untill now.

Anywho! I'm currently in my 1st year of university (another 3 to go).

I currently have NO costumes (its a sad fact i no *cries*) but i will be making some later next year (when i get the time and evil lecturers STOP GIVING ME WORK! seeing as i took the course with the most modules in it ¬_¬)

The animes i like are as follows: Hitman Reborn (<3), Iyuasha Dragon Ball Z, Salior Moon, Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblade, Card Captor Sakura, Gravitation, Prince of Tennis, Ouran High School Host Club, Hetalia and many more. I'm also interested in gaming *_* i LOVE Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, Ace attourny

Also wanna cosplay as either Draco or Harry

I'm from a town next to Brum, I buy my fabric from the rag market in the city centre (highly recommended for the price!) though I've now moved away for uni so living in Northampton during term time xD welcome to the cosplay madhouse if you need any help getting started give me a message i'll try my best to help

Noooo!!! once i move here a cosplayer leaves TT_TT You in your first year? Its a shock to the system really haha. Thanks for the advice! I've been through there once when my flatmates wanted to go clothes shopping and i got dragged along (i hate clothes shopping) when i walked in i was in heaven *o* thanks for the offer, ill most likely take you up on it at some point

Heya, which Birmingham uni are you at UB, Aston, or City?

I also just moved to Birmingham for my first year at the University of Birmingham. If that is the same Uni as you, I'd be happy to meet up on campus etc and help out with cosplay if you want? I've quit cosplaying but crafts still haven't left me!

Next Cons coming up are the Midlands Expo which is in Telford 19th Feb. You must come to that! Then there is Kita Con 1-3 April weekend which is in the Hotel next to the NEC. That will also be Fab and full of cosplays and friends.

So get sewing ^_^ cuz they will be here before you know it! And I want to see you at some of these events wearing your pride and joy costumes.

There is Memorabilia which is run by MCM Expo happening tomorrow and Sunday.

Entry £10 for normal entry, £15 for early entry.

I haven't sadly, but my friend brought me Sora's necklace for christmas which has fired up my passion to cosplay him even more >.< I haven't met anyone personally but everyone is REALLY nice and helpful, if I could I'd give them a HHHHUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE hug through the computer xD I'm going to Kitacon next year, paid yesterday so I'm SO excited but I don't think I'll be cosplaying for it tho are you going to any?


Sorry Ranma1-2 I'm not going to the Midlands Expo BUT I am going to Kita in 2011!! paid yesterday ^_^ so happy but I dunno if I'll be cosplaying tho seeing as my sewing machine is at me mum and dads house and at my accommodation I dont have room to >.> stupid small rooms but thats what you get for going for the cheap accommodation.
