I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a cosplay photoshoot up North? I really do want to build up my photography, and over the summer seems like a good time to do it. I tried to over Expo, but a variety of circumstances led to most people not turning up or me not being there due to illness v.v

Anyways! Because this is my first time doing an official photoshoot I'm not going to charge much, but hopefully enough to cover my train fare to wherever ^__^ Because I'm near Manchester, that would be the easiest place for me to get to and the only city I'm really familiar with If there's a place nearby here you know good spots for photographing your cosplay, let me know.

Would anyone be interested? I thought I might offer since most of the photographers seem to be down South ^__^

EDIT: Ah! Also forgot to point out http://sazikins.deviantart.com/ demonstrations of photos I've taken of other cosplays ^__^' These are mostly from May Expo where I could drag people away from the crowd, not many, but hopefully enough to give you an idea =D

ah, sorry I haven't been on this for a while, but it would be excellent if you wanted some photographs taken! Did you have in mind any places/ cosplays? If you don't have a place in mind I can try and find a suitable one in the area for the type of cosplay you are doing ^__^

Would you like me to find a more rural area for a shoot, or would you prefer to meet up in Manchester city centre? I'm sure we could find somewhere there that would work ^__^

Ah, also, I would suggest that you do bring a friend or two or three since you are quite young and I don't want people to get the wrong idea about me! XD;;

I have a couple of costumes that I would love to have pics of. My Sephiroth and my Abel Nightroad. Both do need some more work though before photos. I don't mind the setting as long as its not likely to draw too much attention. I'm 33 so you won't have to worry about my age. Sephiroth is ready to be photographed. I just need to adjust his jacket as it ended up being too big.

Id definately be interested!! Ill tell my bezzie and cosplay partner in crime (or maybe shell see this herself), and see what she thinks. Shes currently working on our Vampire Knight outfits, I think that once theyre ready it would be nice to get some awsome pictures of her epic handywork Oh and were 23/24 respectedly so youd have nothing to worry about on the age front!!

Well, to both Sephirayne and Bellet Shoes, name dates that you can do and places you would like the photos to be taken (if applicable. I can pick places if you cannot think/ do not mind. Most like just a quiet place in the middle of Manchester )

Ballet Shoes and I do know each other so we can chat about possible locations. I've only been living in Salford for about two years so I'm not brilliant with the area. There are a couple of places near me in Brougton, Salford that might work. Theres a stunning abandorned church near me. That would work for both the Trinity Blood and Vampire Knight cosplays.

If you know good places that are easy to get to from Manchester Picadilly train station that would be great, as I've only ever really been into Manchester for shopping, and though I could find city places, I would have to go a little way out to find anything other than streets and shops

The location I'm thinking of is about 1 min from my house and a quick bus ride from the city centre. So will be easy to get to. I can cover the cost of your bust ticket as you'll need a day rider whcih will be £3.70. I have another friend who would like to take part. Shes currantly offline so has asked for me to put her forward on her behalf.

Hokies! Well I'm thinking like ... £8 per half hour or something? or £15 per hour, I'm still not entirely sure how to price it, so if you want me for a couple of hours, then the bus ride/ train ride will all be covered in the cost =B

As for other people, I'm pretty much free all the time at the moment, so the more the merrier I really just need to know dates when you are free to do photoshoots, or when your costume(s) will be ready

That should be fine. At the mo my costume is being aimed for Oct Expo. So I hope to have it ready by then. Though due to all the detailing its taking longer than I originally thought.

Ok, though I will be moving to Warwick for uni at the end of September, so if it goes beyond then we may have to wait until October Expo for me to take pictures of said costume =] Or wait for a weekend when I'll be back up North to visit home, sorry if this is any inconvenience!

No thats fine. I'll be at Expo with the costume. Also I might of found another photographer. My brother is interested in taking it up so I might sort something out with him.
