kitamurin Joined: 17 Dec 2008 Posts: 66 | Making long hair stand up...? So this lady has twintails that stand up of their own gravity-defying accord. Even when there is no wind. Most cosplayers I've seen just have a wig with long twintails hanging straight down, but I'd really like to keep the sense of constant movement that's in the animation in my costume... and I'm not sure how I'd go about doing this. Something with wire seems promising but I don't know what. Any ideas? |

You can get it so the twin tails are defined and solid, but as with anything that is wide....wind hits it and you may feel it taking off from your head. Using wire wouldn't work wince the tails are too long and would just flop under their own weight. __________________

Looks like you've kinda got the same problem I've got, I'm testing PVA out at the moment, i did manage to make the hair stick straight up perfectly, I was also told to try Chaulk which is used to fill in gaps between tiles, it drie clear! and would make it dry hard! |
