Anyone know a good place to buy feathers?
I'll be needing quite a few red and white, so any internet suppliers or London stores would be really helpful~

... Obviously, cheap is good <3

Thanks~

Most haberdasherys have feathers of various colours and types. I guess markets and department stores would have some...
I bought a load from John Lewis's haberdashery recently but I dont know id London has a branch o.o
I hope I've been helpful in anyway

I brought mine from Ebay. lol After much research, it turned out to be the cheapest option for me. Though it depends what and when you need them for. You could also try www.jaffefeathers.co.uk

They are a uk feather company and deal in bulk orders but they are a bit pricey and require a min order of £50, this is ALOT of feathers though depending on what type you want. (Though I would have gone with them as in the long-run, its cheaper to buy this way but opted for ebay as I didn't wish to spend loads and be left with a ton of feathers I wasn't going to use.) If you just need a few then probably not the best ones to go with.

I brought most of my wing feathers from Debzzart on Ebay who sells a wide range of different feathers. They're really friendly and if you have any questions or require something specific, its always worth asking. They're quick to post, quite resonable in price and offer free/combined P&P on most feathers they sell. They also have a website too http://www.debzzart.com/

Hope that helps!

I've mainly used e-bay and hobby craft to get my feathers but I recently placed an order from this UK based site http://www.fredaldous.co.uk/shop-online/feathers.htm their prices seem okay, I placed my order on Monday so I can't report back on their delivery rate just yet.

EDIT

Feathers just arrived this morning so delivery gets a big thumbs up!

Do you need big strong turkey quills or just regular feathers? If it's regular feathers (they're pretty good for bulking up anyway, because if you just use quills it gets expensive XD) I sell them here: http://www.coscraft.co.uk/product.php?id_product=29

And ordering red ones for you wouldn't be a problem. Would take about a week or so.

Er, just so that I'm not only promoting my shop... haberdashery shops are usually quite happy to help order things in, so if you don't need the feathers urgently you could always ask the shops.

Oh wow, thanks for the help everyone~!

Looks like I'll definitely get a good selection of red/white feathers out of these, quills and all <3

O Pez, you're totally allowed to advertise your shop if it's so awesome x3 I think I might go for some of your red if possible~ (... and white and oh so many feathers)

XDDDD <3 I haven't got any red at the moment but it only takes a week-ish to get them. If you do decide to shop with me just PM or poke me on facebook, tell me how many you need and I'll get ordering!
