Hi everyone,

Looking for local cosplayers. Not for any particular reason, just to say hi. It'd be good to know I'm not the only one around here!

I'm in Berwick, and you?

It's so good to not be alone! None of my friends are into anime, so I have nobody to talk to about it it drives me

You going to any conventions or anything? Got any costumes on the go?

I'm gonna head to Alcon in September. Trying to get a Hellboy costume ready for it.

Oh lol, you're absolutely, definitely not the only one. There are TONNES of anime fans in the North East and plenty who cosplay too - me included!

i'm just working on Hellboy.

thought i'd take it easy and not get overburdened by work, 'cos i have lots of ideas so i need to be disciplined or none will ever get built!

i do plan a Vegeta costume though, as well as Pyramid Head, Buu, Starscream, Rincewind and more. I'll just have to see how I get on with Hellboy first.

unfortunately as i'm planning a trip abroad next year and having to save, london events are off my to-do list.

i can't even go to alcon now!

i am hoping to go to Chibicon in September though, and if a place becomes available i'd love to go to Auchinawa. I've also got a place booked for Kitacon 09.

Hey, I was wondering if you guys have heard of the Festival of Japan, happening at the Botanic Gardens in Durham from Sept 5-7: http://www.festivalofjapan.co.uk

We're running cosplay activities there and it's being judged by a real maiko and geisha!
