Doll is a good set of little stories. It's like the adult version of Chobits in a sense. The art's really bizarre, but I love the books! ^^

I love the manga/anime Natsume Yuujinchou, and the artwork is also really nice. It's been around for a while but it's not as popular as I thought it might be.
At the moment it's quite captivating, and nyanko sensei just rules the anime/manga.

Zombie Loan and Godchild. They're both great to read and Zombie Loan's definately great to watch too. The artwork in Godchild is amazing and I have no idea why more people don't know about them. I've seen/met a few people that do know about either one of them, but it would be great if I knew more people knew about them!

And i've recently started reading Hitogatana. It's pretty decent and i love the art work! .... now go read it!

I'm really into the series Pita-Ten recently ^^ Its so crazy! And the art style is adorable!

Happy Hustle High- possible my favourite manga series ever, and only 5 volumes long! (i've even done a cosplay of Hanabi from it, but it was a shame no-one recognised it at london expo- it's such an excellent series)

The mangaka is Rei Takada and her other works are awesome too- such as Punch! and Gaba Kawa.

Don't know if someone's already said this or I already said this, but Dengeki Daisy is a manga that I think is awesome and it needs to be known~! xD

I don't know many people that like/have heard of Tenjho Tenge and Lovely Complex, and I love them both <3

My two favourite anime are Moyashimon and Hikaru no Go, I love both of them especially Moyashimon and NO ONE has heard of it, which is a shame because it's so cute and lovely =3
Minami-Ke is also are really great slice of life series people haven't quite often heard of yet it got me into the slice of life genre along with Hidamari Sketch, so cute =3

Teppu - fight manga about mixed martial arts
Onikiri Jyuzo - Early manga by the same guy who did Basilisk Koga Ninpo Cho about samurai demons
Blade of the Immortal - The main character is an immortal ronin, this doesn't stop him being chopped up all the time.

-Anime-
Seirei no Moribito - One woman, one spear. Also small boy for the protecting of
Twelve Kingdoms - From school girl to queen of high fantasy in 45 episodes with unicorns and giant talking mice
Shigurui - You don't mess with Gennosuke Fujiki, even if he only has one arm
Requiem from the Darkness - Traditional japanese horror stories wrapped around the plot of a writer trying to chronicle 100 stories
Pale Cocoon - OVA about people using amazing computers to decode old images and video footage of earth, which has been forgotten about
Legend of the Four Kings - Old school anime about the four dragons, this was my first anime
Kemonozume - A show about vampires but not as you know them
Trapeze - The colours, the insanity. All packaged up in some great single stories about the medical disorders of people who are all in some way linked to each other.
Trava Fist Sky - Like a pilot for Dead leaves with more talking.

Valkyrie chronicles it was such an awesome game an then they made an anime, but for some reason they dont think it will be popular over here so its not yet dubbed

I love this show. It's such a shame that they didn't do more. I'd have loved to find out what happened to Taiki. There isn't even much fanfiction about for it.

Or much fanart or much cosplay Just little bits here and there. I have the second book but have not read it; I think the majority of it is about Taiki, but mainly as a retread of his choice on the King on Tai.

Might try and give the second book a go later and see if I can get into it this time ^_^

I guess I like Seirei no Moribito for similar reasons as Twelve kingdoms; except seirei is very grounded in reality whereas kingdoms is very high fantasy

Yawara! - I'm not even sure why I like this series so much, but you don't often see much anime about Judo

The first manga I ever bought, and I have actually yet to finish (it's quite an EPIC saga) is still one of my favourite series ever!

It's a series called Dragon Knights by Mineko Ohkami. It never got made into an anime but the Manga is really great! My copy of vol. 1 is now massively dog-eared from all the people I have lent it too, and they have all loved it.

It's a truly great fantasy series, with a really different and funky art style. I have only ever seen one cosplay from it, and that was online, though I have always had a dream to cosplay from it!

In a nut shell, it's about these three Dragon knights, Rath (Fire Dragon knight), Rune (Water Dragon Knight)and Thatz (Earth Dragon knight). They are sent out to retrieve the head of the dead demon lord Nadil to prevent his followers from resurrecting him. At least that's the opening plotline...all joy, death, destruction, demons, and MUCH hilarity ensues. It had such fantastic plot lines, and story arcs. It managed a great blend of intrigue, serious moments, action and also had a lot of very funny moments that I really enjoyed!

So I highly recommend for all =D

I have all this series! I haven't read the last one yet but yes! I agree totally adorable, I managed to score an artbook too, Shia and Misha are so cute!

I have the second book as well. It's just the Taiki arch, from what I remember, there is no difference between the book and the anime (unlike the first book, where I know there are several differneces). Well, actually, there is one but it's only that in the book there is nothing on the present or Earth.
I really liked it, but then, I really like Taiki's story.

I've recently started reading Monster. I met Huw J. Davies (who's worked on some Studio Ghilbi and anime projects) and he told me to check it, so I did and I'm loving it so far!

The anime/manga that I can think of are - Black Bird (I hate it yet I love it), Soul Eater, Pandora Hearts, Strawberry Panic, Final Fantasy Unlimited and Demon Diary.

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls and Strike Witches are actually really underwatched despite being known about.

I love both those shows despite being a girl and slightly prudish, I'm currently watching and loving strike witches 2 ^w^

They are both really good fun.
Loved Season 2 simply for the inclusion of other witches like Hannah Justina.
And HYSG totally needs a season 2. Loved Sanada, Hanzou and Kanetsugu.

Both need more series! I'd love to see more of Lucchini and Erica from Strike Witches =3 Both are such fun series and more series should be more like that =D

Erica was indeed my fave of the 501st witches. She's such a lazy troll.
And Lucchini and Shirley are amazing. XD

There does indeed need to be more anime of this genre. Hoping Infinite Stratos atm fits the bill.
