I'm from germany and will go for one year to london as a Au Pair but I don't want to give up my hobby.
I love Cosplay so I want to do it in London too
but I don't know how
I mean where do people meet in London and where can I see when they will meet
let's say I'm just hopeless ^^°
I would be happy if someone could help me and would guide me ^^°

I dunno about smaller meets cos i live in the north but there in teh london expo coming up in october

Welcome to the country and welcome to CI! I'm new to the whole thing anyway but I've been getting an idea as to where everything is by just checking the 'cosplay chat' section of the forum. Normally people post threads for themed groups to upcoming events, so if you just check in there you should be get an idea, as people will post well in advance to give others a chance to get a costume together. However, no doubt someone with more experience will post shortly giving you some tips, so conversly you could just wait for that. Regardless, salutations and welcome and all that. Oh and good luck with the au pair-ing.

london's a great place for costume-nuts like ourselves, so you'll blend right in, hehe. like the other's have said, there's mcm expo in late october. go to that and i can guarantee you'll meet a ton of like-minded people to make friends with, etc.

Welcome to England and to Cosplay Island

A little help for you finding information..
If you look at the top of this page you will see the big Cosplay Island heading. Just below that you can see a row of blue menu headings - "HOME PHOTOS COSTUMES EVENTS " etc. If you click on EVENTS it will take you to a list of all the current cosplay events. When you click on an event there will be more details of where, when, people who are attending, and which costumes etc. etc.
