Ok so I just moved into my uni accommodation, and there's a fancy dress party this Friday. I have NO idea what to go as. I don't really want to wear one of my cosplays since no one would know who I was meant to be.

So basically I'm trying to think of something that is easy enough to put together, but fun enough to be interesting and recognisable!

*waits for inspiration to flow in* D:

1) Harlequin. (Batman animated) - is instantly recognisable and you can also wear her to Expo's after. I don't know how fast you work though. If it was me a week is just not long enpugh.

2) Classic Star Trek costume - generic red mini dress with long sleeves (just add some gold trim onto the cuffs, and a gold badge and line neck opening with black trim), black tights, knee length boots. Phaser or communicator prop - lets face it a mobile phone is more or less a communicator.
If you are feeling lazy I think they sell them in fancy dress shops on eBay.

3) Any victorian/steam punk type costume. esp if you have a corset. There are so many vampire films which have costumes like this, eg Interview with a Vampire, Van Hellsing, etc.
Depending what you have in your closet you might be able to throw something together with just closet cosplay.

Thanks everyone Ranma, your Harly Quinn was my favourite idea! But I couldn't find anywhere that I could buy it within budget, and I don't have time to make it :C
