cna anyone help recomend a good but cheap hotel. i have looke dat hotels by excel.. they have gone from £53 a nyt to some nearly £200

the further away you go u either enter the bad lands or get closer to the city centre and they get more pricey


anyone been before..where have u stayed

Have you looked at the Etap? It's a bit of a walk away (10-15 mins) but it's a lot cheaper than the main hotels near Expo and is still a decent place to stay.

Yeah try etap, i have a phew friends staying there said they got it pretty cheap, heard the reason the hotels are so expensive is because expo is taking place during the halloween weekend.

i aint looked there... thanks.. will try that now.. just hope thjey aint put thier prices up. grrrrr at hotels.

Yeah, both Etap and Holiday Inn Express both still have rooms when I checked a few days ago. HIE is slightly more expensive, £69 a night for two people but at least it's not £200!

holiday inn looks good.. and fairly close to the expo as well

custom house isn't too bad and is really close.

I've got a friend that had some available beds, don't know if that's still the case, but it might be worth looking into?

We've got an apartment in canary wharf for three nights of the London MCM Expo, Fri to Monday morning and we need 2-3 more people to stay with us.

Its a huge apartment with a stunning view, and for 3 nights its £85 per person (or less if we get the full amount of people). Its right next to the Blackwall DLR stop which is like 2 stops from Excel, and near a lot of shops etc at canary wharf.

The husband & I are staying at the Holiday Inn Express. It looks to be a decent distance and in my experience Holiday Inn is a ok hotel brand.

I checked ETAP about one or two weeks ago and it said it was full :O But that may be because we needed Friday night too?

We're at Premier Inn, which is supposedly only 5 mins away but the cheapest and closest we could get of what was left. It's costing us roughly £70 a night I think :s

if you try a site called Otel.com, i've booked there a few times before and have booked at custom house for expo!

Was about £50ish a night, which split between two people isn't too bad! and you get continental breakfast too X3

well.. my friend is now not going as her hubby has been made redundant..

so the hotel is just gonna be for me now..

plus i think the res evil group is on the firday so i need the fri nyt hotel

and mtani..that sounds good... looking more affordable than a hotel... and if they going expo at leats i will kinda know somehwere there. ahahahah

I used to use the premier inn which is right next to Excel. Not sure about prices though o.o It was never ridiculously expensive as far as I can remember!

premier inn was stupidly expensve when i called.. i think i may try the holiday in.. its not next door to the expo but its only 4 miles.. and about £50 a nyt...


just hoep the expo is worth £100.. plus all obver expenses..


i dont think i will be going on a proper holiday any time soon after the expo.lol
