Tattoo help.
Hey. I'll be cosplaying fang for October expo and hate fangs tattoo with a passion. (Not the design just getting it onto my skin ¬_¬)
Atm i'm (attempting) to use Thermal tattoo transfer paper, only thing is i need to draw the design onto the paper and colour the hole thing in which is extremely annoying me and will continue to do so as I'll have to make about 3 off these to make sure nothing screws up at expo.

Soo i was wondering if anyone knows of any tattoo paper i can use which would only involve cutting it out and transferring it onto my skin without the colouring in?

Hmm.. Thermal Copy paper that i use at work for tattoo's will only work for an outline as you say.. and.. it only comes out as dark blue. So that may not be the best choice. And you have to get the moisture on the skin just right, or the design will bleed out.

Maybe you could use the paper you can get for Inkjet printers for temporary tattoos *searches on ebay*

Like the sort of stuff used for those temporary tattoos when you were a kid that you soak on. You do have to be careful about it rubbing off though because they dont last very long.

I think if you did use it, you'd just have to be careful that you, or anyone else didnt touch it, but.. walking through crowds might be an issue! lol.

Maybe take multiples, they wash off so easily that you could just apply them through out the day if it starts to look messy.... a bit of a chore though.. lol

Very true. Tbh i've just abotu give up trying to get a decent one that will stay on. Although i guess i could also try putting hair spray, Vaseline to try and keep it on more?
Thank you for the help though, much appreciated.

Hairspray would be a good idea, Vaseline..because its so greasy, it might just make the design slide off the skin.

You could ask FairyPorchQueen on here, she did an amazing fang and the tattoo was awesome.

I bought a transfer tattoo from ebay for another costume, and it stayed on pretty well with a layer of hairspray. It might be different with transfer paper. Thank god I could find the right design on ebay!

Also, shave the area you're going to put the tattoo on first. I found that even though they were only light hairs, by the end of the day i had tiny, albeit unnoticeable holes, in the design.

Yes she did do a really amazing fang, seen her at expo when i was lightning.
I wanted to ask her but i really don't want to seem as if i'm nagging her.

the stuff that alyx posted is similar to the tattoo transfer paper i used for MGS Vulcan raven, its great stuff, goes on with warm water and its pretty durable stuff.
you wont have to worry about it coming off when people rub knock against it, i had a large black raven transfer on my face which was only just beginning to crack by the end of the day (the tattoo, not my face)

i got mine from here:

hope this helps.
