We've only really had a few negative reactions as Harley Quinn and my boyfriend as the Joker

one was just "omg look freakshows" from a bunch of kids on the train XD. we ended up having to sit near them and they just said little things like "dont kill me" lol

The other one was when we arrived back in our town after a con and went went through the park. some more 13 year olds were there, and they actually said carl's Joker looked good, but then they said "but you friend looks gay".

Oki im gona put this all down to people in the world are nuts if they think you can have Hen and stags nights are aloud to wander the cities and towns drunk in god knows what causing mayhem, But a bunch of geeks cant dress up as favroute charcters just for a fun.

Did you hear about the drunks that tried to pick on a couple of guys in drag? It turned out the intended victims were actually cage fighters on a stag night. Safe to say the drunks got their asses handed to them.

Ha Haaa!! I was wondering round the town, drunk, may not causing mayhem but I was dressed up as my favourite character! And who care's if peeps think I'm a Geek!!!

I think Milton Keynes is fairly used to people going out in fancy dress anyways as there's always some sort Hen/Stag/B-Day thang going on!!

Them 2 cage fighters who were dressed in drag were heralded as National Heroes!!! I love how the world works sometimes

Yay for Milton Keynes! I think one of the main reasons we're pretty ok about cosplayers is that until last year Collectormania was held in Middleton hall so they would wander around in their cosplays. I did before and only got a couple glances

OMG! I've been to Collectormania everytime for like the last 6-7 years and some of Cosplays I've seen there are amazing!!!

Still don't think I'd go out in Cosplay in the daytime or anything in MK, but for a night out if everyone is fancy dressed up it doesn't matter!

I've Recived some bad ones but genrally quite tame ones.. weirdly enough its sometimes the Genral public i love more when im cosplaying .. I went to JCC back in september as Future Trunks from DBZ and no cosplayers reckonized me and I even asked "do you know who I am?" and they were like "fimilar but no" I told them and they were like "OMG YEAH I KNOW NOW GOD SORRY YOUR COSTUMES GREAT" and all that jazz ... but as I was walking to the train station hom from JCC a bunch of teeenage guys were walking down the street with cigrettes in hand and they went "oi what shits been happing today, who you meant to be?... oh wait Your from Dragon Ball Z never mind dude you're sound" I was like :O NOOOOO WAAAAAAY!!!!

Only situation I've ever Loved teenage chavs <3 So its not all bad! Oh and you should all hang your heads in shame that a Chav is better at identifying a cosplay than actual cosplayers!

At the last expo I was in my Hei; DTB costume, complete with mask.

3 American sounding girls, less than 12 years old asked me if I was an "Emo clown", repeatedly.

I said "That's why I have these blades, so I can cut myself in the dark"

If the expo wasn't a family event I could have said something with more weight... >_>

I think mines more funny than rude....
But on the sunday of the recent expo i had the comment of 'oi ginger! (of course we all know ichigo has orange hair ) you know it's NOT Halloween'

To which my comeback was.... urm actually it is you know the 31st...can you read a calendar?

Also at the expo, i mangaed to make a man on the DLR hide behind a pillar at 6:30 in the morning...

But mainly its strange stares and sniggers especially in nottingham xD I've yet to hear snide comments from members of the public but we did actally have a chavyish girl come up to me and asked if she could hug kakashi (which was me)

A couple of things that actually got to me slightly, First was last summer i was heading down to london in my TYL lambo cosplay and some random slapper on the train mid conversation with a friend who was complaining about looking rough, turned and pointed at me and said "at least you don't look like that", i shot her some of my finest evils, but yeah that really annoyed me

secondly May Expo this year i was cosplaying TYL Belphegor which is one of my better cosplays yet i still get someone come up to me and they were a cosplayer also dress as a character from Reborn, and yeah he was like "oh my friend cosplays Belphegor but like his is better he has the proper crown and knives" at that point i kinda wanted to just rip him apart verbally due to the fact my crown was made for me by a good friend and was pretty damn accurate to the manga,and because i'd actually bothered to make my knives rather than order them off some over priced website, my knives too were pretty damn accurate down to size and everything, Karma struck when i saw him and his friend the next day, lol his crown nice as it was was less accurate than mine as were his knives

the other time i had someone in my face over a cosplay was for my David Beckham cosplay which was kind of a laugh and i thought it'd be cool seeing as the world cup had been coming up, generally it was well recieved apart from one little oik who felt the need to come and confront me over my choice they were like "its mcm expo , movies, comics, media, david beckham doesnt fit, thats not a cosplay.... blah blah blah" for a good few minutes about how I shouldnt be cosplaying him......rather calmly i smiled at him and said, "3 actual movie appearances, at least 4 videogame appearances a year and to top it off quite a big figure in the media...... theoretically he's had more videogame appearances than even sonic so why dont you run off and tell them they shouldnt be cosplaying here too", the little oik then look rather embarrassed and ran off WIN!

I cant wait for reactions to my upcoming Bridget cosplay, it shall be interesting to say the least
