What a day!

Yes, the venue was a bit small, they seemed to underestimate how many would turn up! We arrived about 10:40, queued till 11:15 and let in.

Noface costume was a big success, never had so many hugs or pictures taken! It was very, very warm, but walked round once without it and felt something was missing. Chihiro was popular too, and Kiki / jiji enjoyed the costumes and people were really friendly to them (aged 9 and 7).

In fact, the people made it. Everyone was really nice, and the variety and hard work gone into the costumes was amazing. The masquerade certainly had variety, I will never think of Navi in the same way again!!

Here is to the next one, we're already discussing ideas!

Compared to London, yeah, it was kinda compact. Was a little awkward to bypass people without worrying about damaging your own or their cosplay, which sucked a bit.

I enjoyed myself, I was the kinda goth/punk looking Kaito with the Magnet headphones...or if you want, that guy with the messy blue hair, the black clothes and the headset. I was feeling awful physically, had no sleep and was feeling proper ill so if I looked miserable/antisocial then I'm sorry D:

Goods wise, it was alright. I found that stuff dwindled particularly quickly, although that was through no fault of Expo itself. Got a few DVDs and mangas so I was pleased. I would like to see more at Manchester, although with a slight overhaul to allow more space. Maybe taking one or two stalls out.

Didn't visit any of the guests but not a bad selection for the first Expo there, particularly seeing Warwick Davis and Kenny Baker in person was pretty cool. Um...can't think of anything else so yeah, roll on October now!

As a vendor I was REALLY pleased with this expo. Much more of a turn-out and some really good cosplays dotted around. A vast majority of the people also had time to shop and browse rather than being shuffled along with the crowd like in London!

All in all, a really good day

Oh my god... like... oh my god! That was my first expo (not convention) and it was amazing. I feel sorry for the girl that got hurt, i think it was about 5'0'clock or something, i hope she's ok if she's on here.

If anyone got any pictured of a Link with a small shield please let me know.

i had lot of fun and i had lot of people come over to me and ask to take photo of me and said hi haruhi or ask can i have a photo haruhi it was lol am so going next year and i got to have a free photo shoot of me in my haruhi cosplay

I saw loads of Haruhi cosplayers XD Seriously, it seemed tp be Haruhi and Link, i found about 6 Links too. I probably said hi at some point haha

Basically i think some girl tripped or something and hit her head, had to have paramedics come, feel really sorry for her because it would have made her day bad

i was long hair haruhi and ya see lot of haruhi 2 but i think most that i c had short hair and i think this little girl was dress as haruhi had long hair 2 and i got lot of hug 2 am make a hug board next time free hug lol

I had a lot of fun Shame the venue was a little on the small side and it got so hot inside. There were some lovely cosplays around too, I really liked the disney cosplayers that were on in the masquerade

Ah I missed the Disney groups masquerade!

As for the girl, some baffoon decided to pick her up and dropped her on the floor, she hit her head and is recovering from headaches and a nasty lump. I can't help but feel common decency is amiss here...anyway, she should get better soon, those with her keeping an eye.

The venue is big enough but i don't think they handled space very well, trying to cramp so many stalls in one area etc. Very good though

Ay, that crowded room certainly was uncomfortable at times.

Why must it be over?!

It was my first event so im not sure what its like compared to others.. but i had a really good time! I was nervous to be on my own but people were really friendly and all the costumes were fantastic!

ihad an amazing day, i'm really glad that the expo went down so well in Manchester us northeners can do a good job every once in a while

That was so much fun! (except for waiting outside in the baking sun for the masquerade until we went on stage!) Still, they gave us free sweets and water, plus they thought being outside would help us as they thought it would be cooler - it was nice to know that the organisers were concerned for us. And I chatted to the really nice people next to me in the line, so all was good in the end! (I was the Rinoa Heartilly with a Blaster Edge who wasn't in a group). If anyone has pictures or video footage of the masquerade, please tell me! My sister's camera decided to wipe all her footage of it by itself.

I was Taiga from Toradora, I didnt get any photos taken of any people but my friend did, i mostly got videos of just pretty much nothing but me and my friend playing Bogies haha. I have to agree with everyone the inside was a little too small as it was crowded as hell with that many people that turned up, wow.. thank god i got in a little earlier, that queue was massive and went on for ageeees! D:

I believe its called Dokidoki. Its on the 13th November.

I had a great time at Manchester Expo. It did feel a bit weird being a dealer this time. I did miss doing cosplay. I had a great time and it was great to see so many friendly faces.

Did find it odd that only half the hall was used as the hall itself is much bigger.

Everyone that I did speak to said they had a great time.

Thanks to everyone who did come and check out my stall. Great seeing you all.

I hope there is another one next year.

I was there as Ray from Beyblade, It was nice meeting so many new people, I only took a few pictures but not many at all since it wasn't my camera ^^; heh

I ended up changing my mind about what cosplay I was going to wear haha.
I went into the hall briefly before quickly making an exit. I ended up sitting outside in the shade all day before running inside just before the hall closed ;D
It's safe to say that I had a smashing time (:

I had a fantastic day! Im really happy with how it all went, apart from the dealers room bein a little small. I generally didnt want to in there because I didnt wanna wreck my shoes but meh. I still had a brilliant day! Best day of my life!

The Kingdom dance was a bit of a flop, as we did it at the end when everyone was tired/leaving XD whoops!
