I would really like to cosplay as Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh, but i would have no idea on where to start with his blazer/jacket thing he wears.

Much appreciated =] Dean x welp.... go to a fabric shop and look for a regular jacket pattern. one that has a collar. preferably sleeves too... just alter in so the collar pattern piece is more flared and exaggerated and do the same to the body pieces. just make them longer (measure how long you want it first). __________________ Amulet Dia - 100% Complete! ![]() |

*ahem* Firstly a pattern will be really useful if you have access to sewing machine and somebody with a bit of sewing know-how. (Mum, Nan, whoever). If you can do that, try looking for a cowboy costume pattern. Simplicity do one for western/cowboy costumes and one of the patterns included is for a long "duster" jacket. That would work really well for Kaiba's coat if you take change the shoulders a bit. I also recommend looking for pictures of other Kaiba cosplayers, you can often see how they made a jacket and that can give you a few good ideas on how to do it yourself. ~M |
