Prop Commissioner
|\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\|
UK based cosplay prop maker
|/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/|

I make props for cosplay from masks to staffs to boot covers, anything that falls in to the prop catagory I will try my hand at. My prices are very reasonable, I most charge for the materials and asmall ammout for my time. If you would like to commision me for any prop work please pm me with a few links to pics of the item you'd like made and I'll get back to you with a price and an estimated time required.

I only accept paypal at the moment, you don't pay me untill after the item is complete but before posted, unless cost for the build is more than £20. Here is a link to DeviantART account where you can find pics of my work.

I have only a few months of experiance under my belt this is reflected in the price. I effectively use craft foam, clay, foamcore, polymorph and wood to a degree. If a prop requires something I haven't used before I don't charge if extra material is required because I've messed up.

Also I have a polacy that if your not 100% happy with how an item looks you don't pay anything.

Just as a curiosity and for others information looking to commission people, what sort of materials do you usually use and/or can use for building props and how much experience do you have?

On a side note, you havent correctly linked the URL to your devArt which will automatically put some people off.

The material's I use depend on the requirements of the item needed, for example my Link sheild need to be light but sterdy so I used foamcore, my Myotismon mask needed to be flexable, light and breathable so I used craft foam, the Card Capters staff I am currently working on for a friend consists of a metal poll, clay, craft foam and cross stitch rings. So really it depends on what is needed. As for experiance I don't have alot but what I do have is good and is also reflected in my prices.

Now can I ask why linking to DeviantART would put people off?

It's not that it's dA, but the fact the link is broken and goes nowhere that will put people off. They can't see your work.

Can I just ask, and I don't mean to be offensive in the slightest so sorry if you take offence. I'm just wondering.
Your link shield, in the images on your dev art (I managed to find you by typing directly into the browser bar) it looks like it's been made from cardboard because there seems to be lines that look like corregated cardboard. Does foam core also look like this?

Also, just a friendly word of advice from one commissioner to another. Take a look at the other commissioners profiles and their posts here in the commission corner. Theres alot of info, especially for example Tabs post is very informative in the materials they can use, the techniques the use, what they offer and even returns and all of their policies. There are also high quality images available in their profiles and in the forum posts.

If I am honest, it is somewhat off putting that your images on deviant art are very small and of a low quality so people veiwing them cant really see them all to well, there is also no info on what it's made from in the artists comments and generaly this is what a customer will look for when they are looking to commission you. just revise your post a little, try to get some better photos and give us some more info is all thats really needed.

Like I said, I in no way mean to be offensive, it's just some advice.
