Well, today was a very disappointing day.

Attempted to attend the LFCC, and have learned that going to the Excel centre is more an art that must be passed on from people who've been there already.

In the end, I never made it in...I'm a bit angry with myself for not being more prepared, but also with the organisation of the event, (unless i was completely blind) but I saw no signs saying 'LFCC this way, park here, entrance this way'.

I must also leave MUCH earlier next time, and driving through London is a complete nightmare.

Oh well...next time I'll try to jump on a bandwagon with fellow cosplayers

The LFCC is at Earls Court, not the ExCel Centre!

Awww, don't feel stupid! *hugs* I'm sure others here have done something similar ^^; Just learn from the experience for next time and be prepared!

I didn't know where it was held myself but I just quickly looked it up on the website. Did you get the LFCC confused with the MCM Expo? That is held at the ExCel Centre.

Oh that makes sense, because I'm intending to go to the MCM too (lol, atleast I kinda know how to get to the ExCel now) This was kinda spur of the moment thing, I left late, wasn't prepared. And thanks!

At least it's only saturday, I may have another go coming to the LFCC tomorrow.

Its ok weve all done something similar, had trouble finding the cruise at first last weekend.... always read up on the event your going to, then check again the night before incase of last minute changes. All events are different and locations move with some of them occaisonally... I wouldn't worry about it, just hope u find it tmo

You didn't just go to the wrong Venue, you went to the wrong side of London, just a point though I'd double check you didn't hit a concestion charge zone so not to add insult to injury!

Don't worry 'bout it, I would've gotten lost too (since I've never been to LFCC xD) and I've done lots of stupid things too x3 (e.g. rushing to take my midterm exams since I was late and ended up forgetting to change out of my Sephiroth costume xD most embarrassing moment ever =o=) Mistakes happen~! xD

yes, i'm well aware of the fact that i drove to the other side of London, no need to remind me of my mistake. I'm also fairly certain that the congestion charge is not active during the weekends. Regardless, I was on a bike, free for me.
