Hi everyone, my name's Maris (or Maz for short lol), from the south west UK.

I've had a soft spot for cosplaying for a while now, but it never really went further than imagination for me.
Now though, I've finally decided to have a good bash at it. But being a complete newbie I've no idea what I'm doing...mainly experimenting

So yea, looking to meet new people and make new friends.

I'm really looking forward to my first cosplay, although it won't be till sometime next year lol.

I'm going to try to make an appearance at this years LFCC. Hopefully will see a lot of cosplayers there and get some inspiration ^____^

Yes you should totaly try and come along..Will be awesome...and you will get to see some awesome costumes..

Welcome: the more the merrier. You'll get the hang of it and there are plenty of good people to ask advice from. Plenty going to LFCC, usually a thread for that somewhere

Not sure which day yet, as i'll be coming up by road i would prefer the day with better weather but i hope both days will be great!

thoetmosis - i do have a rough idea of what to do, but i'm still flying pretty much blind lol.

Luna - yea, so far sat looks to be a most beautiful 22C blue sky day I bet lots of people would be looking at all the people in costumes and wondering what's going on haha. Hopefully I will see some people in outfits driving down the mway in which case they will get a big thumbs up from me
