Aww >,< yes the original manga and Brotherhood both have Ling (and a few other really great characters which weren't in the first anime series, too). I love both versions of the story but I was so glad that they animated the manga story as well

I'm way too lazy to read manga so I just watch the anime xD I've only watched the first few episodes of Brotherhood but it seems to be really fast-paced, don't get same feel for the characters as you do in the first anime :/. But I guess it's more about story :S

Oh, that's just because the content of the manga and the first anime series are both practically the same up until it splits off at a certain point and the manga/Brotherhood went off in a different direction to the story of the first anime series.

So basically they rush the episodes where they are re-telling the same stuff (like the Nina story, etc) so that the old fans don't get fed up with seeing those bits re-told again. But yeah, I agree that they didn't seem to introduce the characters as well at the beginning. I think it's because they already expect most people to know who they are from the previous series, but I would have liked to have seen more of the things like the funny scenes with Hughes used in Brotherhood.

I loved Hughes in FMA, was so sad when he died Hmm, judging from what you have said, Brotherhood gets better then . Guess I'll have to go back to it sometime. Anyhow I'm gonna go to bed now, have fun tomorrow or should I say later today at expo =) (If you are going that is xD)

I had an awesome time Highlight of the weekend was when a guy singled me out in the DMC photoshoot and took quite alot of pictures of me Considering that this was my first cosplay, that really felt awesome!
