i generally stopped sitting through the masquerade for various reasons, but one of which was the horrible lighting which makes a photographer job that bit harder, unless you didn't mind horrendously flat flash photography... i did attend this year, but only on sat and only shot one cosplayer lol thats quite a bit down from the 100s-1000s of shots i used to do... heh |

After last time there was much nagging about the lights, they let us check them the night before XD The stage is still an orangey mess but the twin pure white spots on the catwalk made so much difference, as did not having the flickery LED lamps  |

you mean to replace the masquerades lighting? i cant see that working. also, the masquerade uses continuous light for the video feed. and even if it were in addition to whats there already - the variations in what cosplayers and do and how and where they do it on stage would be a major hassle too...
