Looking for an adjustable dress dummy??
Well, as the title suggests, I'm in need of an adjustable dress dummy but I need one that will go up to a large size 18/20.

I've looked on eBay but I'm afraid I don't have the 119.99 they're charging for them, anyone know where I can either get one cheaper, or already have one they're willing to sell me?

Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, after searching extensively for one my self, I believe that it is impossible to get one for less than that.

I would look for a Traditional Lady Valet if you can on ebay.

They range from around £80-120 if you can get one fairly low on bids. I managed to get mine for £90 and it's great for larger sizes. The bust especially is the most natural I've seen though if your waist is considerably smaller you'll need to adjust things off the form for a perfect fit. (from memory there's about 5/6 inches difference between bust and underbust)
Other than that you've got the ones on argos which are around £90-100. Another place to look is charity shops and clothing stores that are closing down as they'll be looking to get rid of them.

make a duct tape dummy ;p nothing better than an accurate clone of yourself to work on!

plus it'll only cost 3-4 rolls of duct tape.. about £10 on ebay, plus stuffing, which can be as simple as newspaper.

They're loverly! Plus free delivery is always a bonus, although I'm annoyed some items don't have prices shown. I'm thinking a re-trawl through eBay is due now I've got a good recommendation for a brand.
That, or Hull's teeming with charity shops so If I'm lucky I might find a bargain!

This intrigues me..... How do you get the duct tape off you once you've wrapped it all round?
Might give this a go when I've got some spare time

You cut it off and whatever clothing you've used to duct-tape onto.

basically what you wana do is get a long sleeved t shirt, duct tape it(only in strips at a time about 7 inch strips) and do this till ite completely covered, then do this again about 2 or 3 more times to give it layers, then cut down in the middle of the back of the collar all the waydown the back and also cut about 5 inches up on each sleeve to get ur hands out, once out start screwing up newspaper and stuffing it(i suggest u duct tape the head part now too or the news paper will fall out
once stuff(dont stuff it too much just stuff it enough so it still is ur size, but its quite hard) then duct tape the ends and walla
