I just watched the new episode of Bleach where Ulquiorra releases his sword and noticed from pics I've seen that it's different in the anime than the manga, does anyone know why?

Ulquiorra has two release forms - he's the only arrancar with two.
First Release Form
Second Release Form

started at the base of his throat, moved up a bit to the centre of his throat, then down to where his heart should be.

I noticed that... A few jokes were made with my friends about The Amazing Migrating Hole but we've since become bored. We're still on "Cillet Bang! BANG AND THE HOLLOW IS GONE!
