If you have a retired cosplay....
Which one of them would you give a last hurrah to and in which manner would you do it?

I'd like to reuse my Area 88 fighter pilot costume. Maybe with a shoot at an aviation museum.

i already have done ;p

after saying i'd never wear Al again due to what bordered on terrifying attention it got, i did a stage magic act with Tab at ayacon.

that version of Al is fully retired now though, but you never know, i might make an updated one in the future ;p

I too have already done it. Alas Tron has been retired for two reasons.

Firstly, it always gives me an enormous headache while wearing it because of all the electronics packed in to the helmet.

Secondly, it was one of my first costumes so after 5 years and three upgrades it is starting to look worn and come apart.

However, it was fun to make and wear, plus I actually got to meet Bruce Boxleitner while wearing it (the actor who played Tron for those who don't know).

Who knows, with Tron legacy out in just over 6 months I may upgrade....

Somehow it's reassuring knowing I'm not the only one pretending to be normal

@Killing Doll. I do like your Tron. It would be good to see it again if you do decide to wear it again becasue of the new movie.

As for me. I very rarely retire costumes. If I do its becasue I wasn't happy about the construction or I've no longer become a fan. One costume I have to admit I would of loved getting to an anime event but never did due to a mix up with boxes when moving house was my Kilik from Soulcalibur. It was my first ever anime/game costume. I was really pleased with the props and the fabric painting on the butt skirt. It ended up in one the boxes going to the rubbish so I never got to wear it again. I might rebuild, I'm not sure.

I retire costumes every year? ^^;

I keep on retiring my Cloud Nine cosplay, but it keeps coming back, it's like a zombie cosplay >.>;

I thought once I cut up the wig, it would be dead, but no, a few months later it was used in a photography project with my other retired ones D=...

I guess that's the best last hurrah for them! To be used in a photography shoot / display =0.

(Also, some dude looked better / hot in my Lady Une costume =( better than me! XD)
