Erm...question. Should fimo be hard when finished? Made summit, put it in appropriately heated oven for about 40 mins now, and its still a little soft. It says 30 mins on packet?
The pack said 'follow instructions', but the only one was 'cook at 130 degress for 30 mins'.

| yami-no-neko Joined: 26 Jul 2007 Posts: 105 | yes, it should be hard, Because Fimo is a plastic so when it's cooked it turns into a solid plastic. however fimo is toxic if left in too long, or on a too high heat. You should be carefull. If you over cooked it We have been advised by a doctor to chuck it away.

The pack said 'follow instructions', but the only one was 'cook at 130 degress for 30 mins'. ive used fimo afew times for various things ^_^ When the fimo comes out of the oven yes..it is still abit soft but this is only because it is still quite hot, i usually wait until it cools this hardens it. After abot 15 min or so when its cool it should be rock hard ^_^ hope this helped ^_^ |

Edit: And no, hasn't been smoking. Was in for an hour at 130 degrees. I'll let it cool, see how it turns out Edit 2: Woo after cooling its become solid.
