So Minami is less than a week away and I was wondering how is everyone's progress is going?

As for me my Refia is just over half-way, though I'm not sure if I'll get the boots done since I can't find base shoes.

Sailor Mercury is going to be a real push I think but I'm sure I can do it...maybe...

I have yet to start on my Macross F one...should really do that <_<

Dissertation is currently non-existent thanks to Minami. XD
Got a few commissions to do then adding the final details to Ectvarr, finishing Liete and still got to fully make Sanjuro. >< It shall be done though!

Also got to book train tickets for Jack as he doesn't finish work til 3 on Friday.

Only now the clocks have changed and it feels like spring, have I actually found the urge to get making, so we'll see what happens this weekend XD

Due to some life stuffs I've had to some moving around with my costumes. Hopefully I will get my main one finished soon. I'm hoping to some major building over the weekend.

I've bought the fabric for my wind waker link today, the sword and shield are all mache'd up and they just need a coat of paint and then detailing. All i need to do is make it all XD OH and make sure i don't miss my hair appointment on thurs and pray it goes alright!

Well, I'm so not wearing the costumes that I had originally planned to wear due to so many different life stuffs.

Both my North Star fairy and Shigami Undertaker had to be dropped. Now it looks like my Mirka Fortuna isn't going to be as complete as I like as the fabric I'm working with is a pain when it comes to pinning. So its taking a long time to sew. So its unlikely I'll enter her into the masq.

Hopefully, I'll have Horatio Caine (CSI Miami), Ivan Isaacs (Priest), Mirka Fortuna (Trinity Blood artbook) and possibly my Abel Nightroad (Trinity Blood anime).

So looking forward to going and seeing everyone. Especially as theres a slim possiblity. that I can't make May Expo.

Alto (Macross Frontier) is done, although I tried it on with my binder on today and realized it's -still- a sack. But I'm too lazy to change the thread so I shall just look very very large LOL. (Yes, changing the thread really does take a lot of effort!)

Mitsuru (Persona 3) has also been done for a while. Not 100% accurate, I'm missing the evoker and evoker belt, but we shall have to do without for Minami.

Princess Tutu, pffffft she's not done yet. I'm about to do more work on her now! M'thinks I shall be bringing the sewing kit for last minute stuff!

And Naoto (Persona 4), my recent addition... Almost done actually! Just need to make the tie and perhaps take in the trousers if I can reeeally be bothered to change the thread (Again with the thread! XD). I can't do any more work until I buy some fabric for the tie though.. Cutting it real close here : S

And my friend wanted to wear my Meroko (Full Moon) cosplay, so I've let her and am wearing Takuto again with her... Although I have no idea when to fit him in LOL.

2 Weeks ago I only had two body suits and the start of some legs.



Now I'm currently painting and painting and painting everything.

A little sister needle decided to break and needs to be pretty much remade from scratch- but I WILL PREVAIL

This will be the first time I've actually completed a costume before a con. Normally I'm holed up in my room for several hours on Friday and Saturday putting in the finishing touches. But Lillet is done and dusted so I can actually enjoy myself completely for once.

The costumes I'm planning to bring are all ones that I started working on for earlier events but didn't get finished in time. They're all in the region of 80-95% finished.

And yet I am still panicking slightly XD

I was going to bring three costumes, but due to small luggage bag etc. only bringing Falsetto, which doesn't bother me. I'm wearing her on Saturday and for a bit on Sunday to get some photos with Limegreenjelly and her Claves! <3

I am really looking forward to Minami. I intend to chill out. x3

Just got to pack away my make up, wash bag and laptop tomorrow morning and shuffle off to the station for 12:40.

Link's tunic is done and i'm really happy with it! Just gotta paint some shiz and then finish the belt and i'm done done done!

Might make one last thing for a 'friend' just for comedy value when i wear link!

I'm working my way through my list and I'm close to finishing though I'm not sure Mercury will be good enough. Still tomorrow is going to be frantic levels of sewing and painting not helped by the fact I have to pick stuff up in town...doing that first thing might make things easier.

Chances are will be doing some last minute hand-sewing on Friday. But I guess it wouldn't be a real con experience without some hand-sewing right to the end!

I'm travelling to visit my parents tomorrow morning, so tonight was my 'night before the con' - weird feeling seeing as I know I won't be at the Novotel until Friday...

Completely failed this year to get organised so cosplaying was a bit of a last minute decision! I've finished Yuzuriha to a state where she is wearable, but she's missing a few details I'll want to add later. Nana...has clothes, which is a good thing, but is missing a lot of accessories. I screwed up on the skirt which I'm bit sad about, will be taking it and deciding at the con whether to wear her.

As you can tell I'm going with the "I don't care that it's not accurate I wanted to wear something" attitude this Minami

I managed to finish off our costumes this week (just had to sew Xehanort's purple cravat) and now all our costumes are packed!

Just gotta do the rest of the packing.......eheheh.
