Fantasy Costume Contest - SCI FI Channel
Hi guys,

I'm Pete from SCI FI. We're running a competition for UK based fantasy costume and cosplay enthusiasts.

All you need to do is send us photos of yourself in your own original costumes and you'll be in with a shot of winning a £100 Forbidden Planet voucher.

The field is wide open at the moment, so it would be great to see a touch of class from the Cosplay Island community.

You can find out how to enter here; SCI FI Fantasy Costume Contest.

I look forward to seeing your entries. Do let me know if you enter so we can give you a shout out.

(iii) grants to the Promoter, without the requirement for any further permission or payment, a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable and royalty-free worldwide licence to feature the Photograph submitted by them in any and all media for marketing and promotional purposes. Without limitation, the Promoter intends to display a selection of Photographs validly entered and accepted into the Competition on the Website and on the Promoter's SCI FI Facebook page. The display of a Photograph on the internet by the Promoter does not in any way indicate that such Photograph has won a prize and, unless an entrant is notified by the Promoter that they are a prizewinner, no prizes will be awarded to entrants whose Photographs are displayed on the internet.

Emphasis mine.

Know what you're getting yourself in to for those who are going to enter this, the above basically gives them permission to use your photo for whatever they want forever without paying you anything.(even if you don't win the competition)

also note the following clause:

"15. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice."

That includes the other terms, such as the one quoted above by Blasteh about how much and what they can use any submitted image for; i'm personally unsure as to whether under law that would include after it has finished.

Not doing this to cause grief - just to make sure people note the important clauses of what they're granted license to be done with their image and name.
