And how are you getting £70+ for travel? I've just looked up prices for open return tickets leaving Friday, and it's £46 for Newcastle to King's Cross. if you get two railcards, one for Friday, one for sun, it'll only be £13 on top (£6.50 each card)

Me and my friend are staying in custom house and its costing £159 for three nights, friday to the monday well really its four but we are leaving on the monday so its only three.

It aint bad. But we did book in January so its a lot cheaper.
Also look for different rail companies, the earlier you book tickets the cheaper they are.
