I'm happy to announce that registrations for Auchinawa 2008 are now open.

Auchi '08 is Scotland's largest anime and J-culture event, running from the 14th to the of November 2008, at the Holiday Inn, Glasgow International Airport. Registrations cost £40 for the entire weekend, and we're looking forward to putting on several cosplay-orientated events, as well as the usual masquarade and omake performance.

Ooohh... so tempting. But Scotland is a bit of a trek for me on my income...

It may be a one to go to next year.

I'm so jealous of ppl who get to go to this one. It'd be the easiest for me to reach by far, as I'm only in Berwick. That's like 70 miles away!

Actually Glasgow isn't that pricey to get to. Planes are pretty cheap and you can get train tickets for as little as twelve pounds from virgin rail if you book in advance. I'm up and down to Glasgow like a yo yo and I never pay more than about Thirty five pounds all together. There's also lots of cheap hotels

Beware of Scottish money however ~_~ No matter what those Scots try to tell it, its virtually impossible to shift in London if your not Scottish. ~_~
