I'm planning on cosplaying as a character who walks around barefoot. While that doesn't really bother me, I suspect most con venues wouldn't be too happy about people walking around in bare feet!
I was considering getting some ballet slippers or fleshy-coloured tights/pop socks, but I'm not sure how this would look with the rest of the costume, although at least with ballet slippers, I can remove them for photographs.
Does this sound like the best option? Or should I just say "screw it" and risk going barefoot?

But quite a few cosplayers walk around bare-footed at events anyways... At expos I know they don't mind as I've done it before and I know there are loooads of L cosplayers that walk around bare-footed xD If you don't mind then go for it! ^_^ |

Then if someone wants my picture or I'm at the death note Photoshoot I can just slip them in my bag ^--^ __________________ My Deviantart- http://littlegeeky.deviantart.com/ My Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/LittlegeekyCosplay My Youtube- http://youtube.com/user/Littlegeeky |

Other than that I'd just go with other people's suggestions of taking shoes that are easy to slip on and off for photos. I'd advise against completely barefoot methods as I'm guessing places like hotels and such wont want you walking around barefoot - for places like a bar area they definately wont, its against health and safety regs. (Well, they may be lax, but just be prepared if they ask you to put your shoes on!) One thing - dont wear pop-socks/tights if you know you'll be walking on tiles/lino flooring! Recipe for disaster |

This costume will hopefully be ready for Minami so I'll show it off there! __________________ Cara bell', cara mia bella, mia bambina, o ciel! |
