Photography is such an important part of cosplay - just as important as the costumes themselves, imo, and it annoys me when people just brush it off >_>;; So to see a thread displaying some of the cosplay pics that class as works of art themselves is fantastic 8D

I loved the TWEWY ones - the scenery in the background fit so well!! Makes me so excited to cosplay from it ;w; And omg, the South Park pic Shazz posted up is just immense xD And the Doll one -- gah D8 *loves so many*!!

The whole shoot is amazing *___* The location is perfect for DRRR!!, with the city lights glowing in the night, and their cosplays a great *O* I chose that particular one because I love how it looks like its a shot straight from the anime~ And it's captured Izaya's character so well - I love how they've used the composition to make it seem as if he's like "This is where the humans live~ And I love them so much!!" There's things about it that could be better, but it's the first one that came to my mind *w*;; I have way to many cosplay pics saved on my computer orz;

I simply love this pic of me in my black Waltz No.2 Cosplay along the Docklands outside ExCel! We were very lucky with the sun that day and I'm also glad it wasn't all too windy otherwise I would've been blown away XD LMAO

Here's one that my fiance took of my Yuffie cosplay. It can be tricky to find nice locations sometimes, but there's a meadow about 5 minutes away from the house, and when the sun came out...



I think this was on quite a high exposure. But someone said it reminds them of the bit coming up to Gongaga, and I have to agree.

Beep :3 These were took on a 12mp digicam. I can't wait to take photo's with my new SLR though.

It's simple, the touch-ups were minor since I pride myself on capturing a good shot on the day and not need to edit much other than the colours (I kinda abhor the shopping that people do, so naturalisitic is what I tend although this is NO WHERE AS NATURAL as it should be)
