I was wondering what peoples first Official cosplay was since back in like.... i think it was 3 years ago i attended the mcm expo as Brandon Heat from Gungrave (might try that one again but with the coffin) though i got commented that "hey your that dude from Hellsing" >.<;;; maybe its cause of the huge cerberus guns

I only started last year- so my first expo cosplay was Ming Ming from Beyblade

But my first cosplay was actually Evangeline from Negima in her vampire mode for a school Halloween social

Erm...well my first first cosplay was when I was younger, I dressed up as a moogle for my school's fun run - it was doomed as no one knew what I was =_=;;

Excluding the occasional dress up as a kid, my first official cosplay was Sally from 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' at Expo, October 2007

umm mine was at an october mcm a few years ago and I went as Sango from Inuyasha although I didn't have a wig as it was quite possibly the most last minute costume ever O_O my friend told me a week before that I was going with her, so I ended up buying most of the things from shops and altering them and making all the shoulder, knee and elbow pads >_<
I'm hoping to redo it at some point as I can actually sew now XD

Mine was at October Expo 2005. It was Naruto. It looked good despite the colours not quite matching each other (orange was came from 3 different sources).

I did have a good time and alot of people took it really well. I owe that costume to meeting a few very good friends of mine now.

My first official cosplay was Prince Demand from Sailor Moon at Ame 08. (the 07 one will not be mentioned <_< )

Ranma Saotome (from Ranma 1/2) at Amecon 08. Not the best made cosplay but it still made people happy so I really must remake her when Im more experienced

My skills are still in need for improvement now but Im slowly getting better

I think my first real cosplay (discounting non anime/comic costumes) was Vash the stampead at Minamicon back in 2002

my first cosplay experience was only this year at MCM Expo in May cosplaying the main costume of Hatsune Miku good times

Technically it was Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket in London MCM Expo May 06. But that sucked and I had no wig nor binding (And I'd rewear with wig but clothes no longer fit me ;_; ).

So my first official cosplay was Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing at the Midlands MCM Expo Feb 07.
Though that sucked too, however I am remaking him for next May Expo to do justice for Gundam

However prior to that I did dress up as Coco Bandicoot for a carnival costume ^^ complete with Crash, Tiny and Dingodile X3

Our first cosplays were always done together, even before we became an official group. The first convention cosplays were at October 2007 Expo:
Bossy was Tenten (in a costume made the night before out of a bedsheet... still a much loved cosplay, even if it doesn't fit anymore).
Mini was Temari (back when she'd let her mum make the costume and didn't really care if it looked wrong).
Busty was Gaara (a costume she didn't stop wearing until it broke).

Our first cosplay outside a convention was September that year, where we all turned up to a mutual friend's costume party dressed as characters that no one there could recognise (despite them being fairly generic as far as cosplay goes):
Bossy was Inara from Firefly
Mini was Misa Misa
Busty was (shock horror) Gaara

Mine was my Han Solo costume from Star Wars done waaayyyyyyy back in 1992 at local comic con called Starbase.

It was Momiji Sohma from Fruits Basket for a recon two years ago. I forgot to take out my piercings though!!!!

I actually just idly thought that I might remake that costume, since my craftsmanship skills are much better and I have better resources available to me now. But a quick Google search turns up no usable reference images and the series doesn't exist on DVD! XD

Hmm....back in 08 The OCT expo, was my second time going as I went in may of the same year, but didn't really get the whole cosplay thing. Besides I had some massive rash and crap.

Anyway, It really was a last minute thing, so I went as L from Death note.

My first offical one was May 09 as Sheena from tales of symphonia, thinking I would be the only one....I was wrong, there were like 5 of us. And I was hardly noticed.

But this year I should be.
