HELP HELP HELP!!!!

I'm picking up the last few bit for my costume and I'm stuck. On the front of Beatrix's outfit she has gold fastener type things that look a little bit like suspenders (over trouser clip on things) . Does anyone know where I can find some? or something that would work for the costume?!! either that or it's going to be gold buttons, but I'd be hard pushed to find some the right shape!

If anyones does know of something in their local sewing shop, I'd be more than happy to paypal/cheque some money over (including P+P obviously!)

basically i'm trying to find those braces clips but in gold

My suggestion is get some cheap braces and remove the clips, then paint them gold or make some out of craft foam or fimo/sculpey and paint them. Sorry, can't think of anything else. Nail polish is a good plan for painting on metal... it's what I've been doing pretty much all evening... in an enclosed room, which is a less good plan... feel a bit funny...
