Wolfwood Punisher Cross
im trying to make wolfwood's (trigun) gun, the punisher (uncovered), and being totally new to this sort of thing was wondering if anyone could give me any advice. Any help will be gladly taken, even down to materials and where to buy them.

i would cut the basic shape out of polystyrene and make the cross so the two pieces interlock wrap the lot in paper mache then bandage the lot up as it is in the series

it shouldn't cost more than £20 to build and most the bits you can can get in Wicks

will do that if it comes to a covered version, but Im gonna give the uncovered a go before I give up on it entirely.

There used to be a kit for this, like an airfix almost, but I think it went out of production years ago, you could try ebay or search, If not, you could always see if you could find a Pepakura model for it or as above use polystyrene!

My friend made the uncovered version of the Punisher for our Trigun group at London Expo. I think everything was done in cardboard, but she spray-painted it so well you'd never guess! You could also try making a basic frame out of thin strips of wood, and covering it with thinner card, building up the details. Depends how sturdy you want it I guess.

By the way, if you decide to go with the polystyrene idea, remember to coat it in PVA glue before you paint it. Otherwise the paint will start reacting with the polystyrene and your Punisher will look like someone's been chewing chunks out of it LOL
