Ailsa-chan made me do it! (I mean Hi!)

Signed up to this sometime ago, but finally got around to posting on the forums.

Currently trying out this whole cosplay thing under the insistence of Ailsa-chan, and with her (exellent) tutorage have almost finished my first costume.

Currently I'm going to Minami next year, and I've registered for Amecon, but not entirely sure if I'll want to go until I've seen what a con is like at Minami. Though I have been assured that I will want to go, so chance are I'll be there too.

(Currently being indecisive about what to do for a theoretical third costume for Minamicon, so suggestions welcome)

Thank you, I picked it because it seemed like an easy thing to start with.

Though button holing 104 times (thankfully using Ailsa-chan's sewing machine) mostly for the ribbon stitch detail, meant it was more complicated that I first thought.

Don't blame Ailsa-chan! You'd have come round to it yourself anyway!
If you blame her she may make you do MORE button holes!

(I'm sure she won't cos she's not mean!)

Seems Ailsa has been busy! (I'll have to up her commission )

Minamicon and Amecon are very different conventions, but I'd definately say that Minami is perhaps the best to start with (a gentler introduction to cons, at least XD)
I'll look forward to seeing you there!

Anyway, before I carry on rambling, a delayed welcome to you! (I've been moving house, so a little slow on replying to the forum recently XD) I hope you like the site, and look forward to seeing your costumes in person! Please feel free to PM me, or ask on the forums if you have any questions or problems with the site
