Hey girls it's a bit quiet in here, how are the costumes coming along?
Do we know if we're parade or expert yet for the masq?

Don't quite understand why they just don't go on the mcmexpo forums and look. Pretty much all of them are there.

I'm in coursework mode at the moment as my deadlines are this week. I'm almost finished! Yay!

Refia only needs a few little edits: the boots, the pockets and the back of the jacket. Hopefully can be done in one afternoon later this week after I've handed stuff in!

Eh? Not quite sure what you meant by that comment... Most of us are on the Expo forums including myself but I tend to check CI a lot more than those forums. Also this thread is also about the masquerade group when the thread on the forum is mainly about the huge photo shoot.
Nothing wrong with posting a link here in case people check this forum before the Expo one.

I'll be honest I don't check the Expo forums except for once or twice, if someone reminds me. I'm always checking CI so I prefer being kept up-to-date on here.

I meant that the people who now say that we HAVE to tell them if we're organising shoots should just go on the mcm forums and look there.

Allllll right guys, Email finally came through, We have parade, which is good ^^! So damn relieved we got a place lol, i know a phew of my friends were really unlucky and didn't.

It's good to know we got in then.

Right officially we have 8 people, I will talk to joe (granny) See what he says, It is most likely we will have to split up, the easiest was would be to have 3,4,5,6 together, go on one at a time in order then have a pose of the 4 of you, then 7,8,9 and 10, we have our shot together, and ask if 3,4,5 and 6 can come back on so people can grab shots quickly of all the girls ^^.

My dress is finished! Woo!
I shall be putting the whole lot on including a make-up test tomorrow so I will have some better photos up.

My Cosmos cosplay is nearly done! I've done all the jewellery for the dress and the earrings. The dress itself should be completed tomorrow I'm hoping to have it all completed by Tuesday ^_^

My Bartz costume's all repaired from wearing it at Kitacon, and thanks to the support from people on the Expo forums (thanks again if you're here too), I've been encouraged to bring my sword along too!

Packed my cosplays away a little early, so I don't forget the smaller bits and bobs. Of course it's got me excited now I'm pretty much ready!

I'm hoping that for my Cosmos dress too!!! I'm prolly gonn do something stupid that'll get it ripped between now and expo though ;p

I'm having that fear as well, or that it will happen at Expo ^^;

I've been persuaded by various people to be Garnet in her coronation dress for the Saturday again 8D

At first, my main problem was fitting it in my bag. But then I got advice from GunstarVixen on how to wrestle a hoop skirt into a small compacted space... Without actually having to wrestle it like I have done in the past. So now I have no excuses (Apart from fixing the crown and attaching the fake fringe, I'll do that after tomorrow though)

I hope all the armour is still alive... And that I've been smart and have kept the whole costume together rather than scattered about. I haven't been looking the costume cause I didn't think I'd ever rewear it... (Otherwise I'll be spending Friday night in the hotel room, hotgluing and painting craft foam loool)

My garnet dress is being put into a seperate bag to the garnet bodysuit and gunner yuna and will of the abyss, i have no hoop because i used netting, but the dress is so big o.0, luckily i don'tlive very far from expo (30 minutes), so i don't need to worry to much about items getting damaged

Still im going up to expo already wearing gunner yuna, haha people are gunna think im crazy

Ahhh, I used a petticoat for my first Garnet dress, then I switched to a hoop skirt to make it 10 times bigger... WHAT WAS I THINKING!?
I shove all my costumes into one big suitcase, sometimes I put things into the matching travel bag which is what I'll be wrestling the hoop skirt into :'D

Tif9123 and I have printed out the numbers for all the girls in the masquerade to hold. We are going to get them laminated today =D

I'VE FINISHED BOTH COSPLAYS!!!

And for once not on the Thursday before I leave for London!!! IT'S A RECORD FOR ME!!!!
