Securing a wig form
I'm attempting to do some styling on a wig but the wig form keeps sliding around and falling over. Is there any good way of securing it, or am I going to have to superglue it to something?

Before I got one of these

I always used to tape my wig head to an upside down vase!

Ooh, I think I'll invest in one of those clamps. There's a Sally's in Bath so I'll nip in there at some point and see if they have any...

Thanks for the tip!

The clamps are good but does cause problems if you're trying to style a long wig if you can't find somewhere high enough to clamp it to. It does make doing tails easier as you can clamp it to the top/side of a door.
I always use a guitar tripod stand but you can also use camera tripod, dressmaker stand, lamp stand etc. They all fit a wig head really well so it won't keep moving around and works fantastically for longer wigs.

Did you also know that a Pop bottle filled with water (or sand) will actually work wonders too? XD

It hasn't worked for me, unfortunately! In fact I think the whole thing got pulled over so many times that the hole on the bottom of my wig form has become misshapen and it won't even sit straight on the bottle now

Ooh, I do have a camera tripod at home, actually - I must see if I can take the top plate off. Cheers

Parcel tape! Seriously that stuff works wonders and it doesn't leave a mess on the table afterwards either [for me anyway...] You can get it cheap from Wilkensons ;D
