I dont really know what you're asking...or what you want to hear...but it looks good to me! Very pretty. I like the details.

But I dont actually know what it's supposed to look like...*should play that game.*

ok just looked at the 1st post and it dont make much sence lol

ok ill ask it with refrence photos

ok this is the DS version

And this is the amano version

what i have done with the cape is try and use both cape designs and put them together.

im wondering

A) does it look alright like that ? (as im worried both the capes dont go together )
B)should i remove the cream cape at the top ? or leave it the way it is ?

thanks Ash

It's definitely a very beautiful cloak, so much hard work into it!

I'm not sure if I can tell if it looks odd or not. It definitely seems long enough but by Amano and the DS, does it go over your shoulders? If you get a picture of you wearing it, then we can maybe give some more input.

Also, items by themselves do tend to look odd. I had the same idea with my Kuja and stressed so much about it. But usually when the costume is put completely together then it comes together. =3 Maybe wear something similar and try it out then. Like a thrown together Rosa or something and see.

Hmm...

The work you've put in is pretty intense and it shows. So I think the capes meshing together looks and works very well!

I'm just thinking that the creme cape at the top looks a little too narrow?
Maybe its just me, but it just leap out a bit that its a lot narrower than the under gauzy cape.

But aside from that I think it look great.

Thanks for the comments on the detail there is still alot more embroidery to be done.

i have been working on it a bit more and will provide new photos asap with me wearing it to give you a better idea of how it will hang on me

@ Dementid kid - it does go over the shoulder's but im thinking it could do with it being a bit wider to fully cover the shoulder's but untill i do the shoulder armour it wont look just as it should and i was thinking of adding another layer maybe in lavender or dark purple

@ silver - yeah i thought the same about the cream cape needing to be wider so i will re-do that bit and show you how its looking

thanks xx

Latest progress x
well after your helpfull comments i went back to it and took of the cream cape and attached the purple peice to the underneath to widen and lenghten the cape so it would fit fully over my shoulder and offer some padding to them when i put the armour on top. it also gave me a clear channel at the bottom to be place the rings for the final design.

this is what it looks like now

i still have to finish the embroidery and beading but it starting to come together

Thanks Ash x

That looks great! Having the extra purple border really pulls the whole design together

Thanks alot! im alot happer with it now

i have been looking about and alot of rosa cosplays use pink or white as the main colour but i thought purple would make a nice change for the cape and the details on the main costume (plus its my favorite colour!) and use the white and cream for the costume like the skirt, top and boots. x

I think it looks great ^___^ My Rosa Farell is the DS version specific with just Amano hair. I'm sorry I didn't get to this in time to help you, I'm at your disposal for future queries though.

I can't wait to see your Rosa costume all done- I adore her!!

If you're going with an amano version then maybe you should check out what other cosplayers have done with their Rosa costumes? I'm sure you can find some on cosplay.com as it's a great game. Failing that, just do what feels right. I personally think that Rosa's colour scheme is pink, gold, and white with hints of purple so anything with those colours is fine. Maybe you could recreate the patterns you've put on the cloak for the boots? I personally went for entirely DS version as far as the costume itself was concerned :/
