i was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice please.

For the October Expo i am doing Ada Wong from Resident Evil 2 and i asked my dad (stupid stupid idea ) if he would mind looking in town for me for some slip on pumps - black

But instead of black what did he buy ..... blue because he said the only other black shoes they had were lace ups

so i was wondering if any of you have any advice in changing the colour of them to black as they are that sort of fabric/canvas material.

Do you/your dad still have the receipt? You could always take them back, get a refund and hang in there until you see a pair that's better suited to your needs.

Whatever you'll do, unless they're real leather, but it would still be expensive, it's better to get a refund, and buy better ones!

It's nice of him to do so, though! ^_^

Agreed! I painted my Chihiro shoes yellow with acrylics (they were previously white and also were canvas shoes.) Though it might be wise to buy some primer...to stop the paint flaking away.

You know the little watch repair place in French Gate? They sell spray on shoe dye, I'm pretty sure that it can be used on canvas, might take a couple of coats though. I was going to use it to color the soles of my Organization boots, but got lazy.

Orrr, take them back, and have a look see on the magial land of Ebay for some black ones.
You could also try a sports store or school store for some of those black P.E pumps.
